From Kels:
From the moment I took my first class, I knew I wanted to immerse it into my life. It was more than the workout to me; it was seeing a community of women that I needed in my life. I waited until my 50th class to ask about being a teacher. I remember someone stating to me that I might lose my passion for PB if I made it my work... well it was quite the opposite... it became home. I found that everyday my joy was rooted in my passion. Everyday I got to wake up and help others rise up for themselves. After years of being a manager and teacher, when Emily approached me about potentially buying the business, I knew that it was my role to continue the legacy she started.
Nothing could have prepared me for being a business owner of three studios. I can look back on the last almost three years and say how tough it was - but also that every struggle was worth continuing this way of life in Columbus.
As we entered a year that no one saw coming, our resilience to keep the PB CBUS community alive SHOWED UP. It was a true testament to our business, that the second we closed down, our teachers, deskers and clients came together to create a virtual world the next day. With vulnerability comes creativity, passion and change and it was because of YOU our doors are still open. Each day you show the growth you have developed during these crazy times, you continue to stay in the fight, you continue to rise up.... This is what makes up Pure Barre Grandview.
As we enter the next decade, I promise to stand by you and to help this community and business grow to its greatest potential. To the greatest team, the most remarkable clients... thank you for bringing life to Pure Barre Grandview for the last 10 years. Let’s do 10 more years of finding joy rooted in our passion and knowing when we enter the studio we are always home. Happy 10th Birthday Grandview !!!!
