Pascagoula and Gautier faced off in the First Ever Singing River Classic 2. Both schools added Flag Football to their athletic program this year and both found themselves battling for a playoff spot and potential district Championship. The Panthers and Gators entered the game both 3-1. However Pascagoula would hold on to win 12 to 7 in a defensive battle.

The Panthers will enter the playoffs as the number 1 seed and Region 8 Champion.

Pascagoula took the field Thursday night with heavy hearts, honoring the memory of their fallen teammate, Braylyn Knowles, prior to first pitch.

In a tightly contested matchup, Gautier edged out a 1-0 win in a defensive battle.

Pascagoula stuns George County in a double overtime win! The Lady Rebels this season has averaged 30+ points a game and allowed 0 points. The Panthers tied the game 6-6 before halftime and that score remained until the second over time. After a defensive stop, the Lady panthers scored one point to end the match up 7-6! Both teams are now 3-1 in district play with one week of the regular season to play.

Pascagoula and Gautier met Tuesday night in a game filled with emotion following the tragic passing of a Panther teammate this past weekend.

In a powerful tribute, Sean Norvel wore Braylyn Knowles’ jersey during warmups, but the moment that will be remembered came in the bottom of the third . With the bases loaded and two outs, Norvel delivered, launching a shot over the left-center wall.

An emotional trip around the bases and a heartfelt embrace at home plate shifted the energy in a big way, sparking Pascagoula to a 9-3 win over their district rival.

More than a game - a moment, a memory, and a team playing for something bigger.
