Too many ideas… and still no motion?
One of the most common places I see creative people get stuck (myself included) isn’t a lack of ideas.
It’s having too many.

So many possibilities. So many directions. So many things you could do—each one carrying the hope that this might finally be the one that changes everything.

And that’s usually where the freeze begins.
Instead of starting, we try to decide.
Instead of moving, we look for clarity.
Instead of action, we wait for certainty.

But often, that decision-making process quietly becomes the distraction.

Underneath it isn’t strategy—it’s fear.
Fear of choosing the wrong thing.
Fear that if this doesn’t work… maybe nothing will.

So the thought creeps in:
This has to be the one that changes everything.
And then—nothing starts.

And if nothing starts, nothing gets finished.

Here’s the reframe that keeps saving me:
When you allow yourself to do som**hing simply for the sake of doing it—even imperfectly—you create learning, growth, and momentum. Not because you got it right… but because you stayed in motion.

Motion builds momentum.

The question then becomes:
How can I afford not to do the thing at all?
Because progress doesn’t come from picking the perfect idea.
It comes from choosing one—and letting the process teach you what’s next.

Who Is They?

Everyone keeps talking about They.
But Who is They?

They is Anyone painted evil,
because They don’t believe what We believes.
But Everyone has Their own idea of who We is,
while They insists We is part of Them.

They are guilty for the crimes of strangers.
Nobody wants to be a They.
Everybody wants to point the finger.

But Who walks into the middle?
Who dares stand between the shouting sides?
Who remembers when the majority of Us
were proud to be simply American?

Now They say Everyone is un-American,
and Everyone says They is un-American.
Nobody says that Everybody
is still part of this nation.

Everyone wants to silence Them.
Hate is preached against Them,
forgetting that They is always part of Us.

See—Nobody is listening to wisdom.
No One seems to care what Anyone is saying.
Because They believe Everyone is lying,
and Everyone believes They is lying.

The circle spins—
Everyone.
Nobody.
They.
We.
Us.

When will We realize that Everybody, Everyone, They, Them, Anybody,
and even the one Nobody agrees with
all together make up Us.

All of Us.
All of USA.
The United States of All.

But maybe Who will listen.
Maybe Who will remember.
Maybe Who will lead Us
back to the middle.
