🌊 Row for the River is back! 🌊

We’re thrilled to announce Northampton Community Rowing’s 3rd annual Row for the River, taking place on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Last year, the generosity of our community helped NCR take a major step forward in modernizing our fleet. This year, we are aiming even higher: $75,000 to strengthen the river, expand access to outdoor recreation, and invest in the future of rowing in our community.

Your donation will support:

The Connecticut River Conservancy and its work for clean water, healthy habitats, and resilient communities throughout the watershed.

All Out Adventures, which creates opportunities for people with disabilities, their families, and friends to build health, independence, and community through outdoor recreation.

NCR’s inclusive access initiatives, including income-qualified youth scholarships and recreational opportunities that connect people of all ages and abilities to the Connecticut River.

Continued modernization of NCR’s rowing-shell fleet so we can safely serve our growing programs and community.

On September 19, our rowers will embark on a scenic 10-mile course on the Connecticut River in boats ranging from singles to club eights. But this event is about much more than the miles rowed—it is about protecting our natural resources and ensuring more people can experience the confidence, connection, and joy that comes from being on the water.

NCR Juniors took Lake Quinsigamond by storm today! First place in the 1BV4, 1Gv4, and 2Gv4. Second place for the 2Bv4 and 3Gv4. Strong start to the spring! Thank you for hosting ! Up next is the Mayors Cup in Medford Ma on May 3rd!

Today the NCR masters got the opportunity to row on Lake Quinsigamond for a practice on the buoyed race course! They made the most of their time! Thank you for hosting!
