NEW BELT? NEW LEVEL. BACK TO THE BOTTOM.... time to learn again.

You spent years grinding, fighting, learning, and earning your place at the top of your belt level. You finally started feeling comfortable, confident, and maybe even a little dangerous.

Then BOOM - PROMOTION!

Congratulations… now you're back at the bottom. 😈

You're stepping onto the mats with people who have been wearing that belt for YEARS. People who have put in thousands of rounds, sharpened their skills, and know exactly how to expose every hole in your game.

That confidence you built? Time to test it.

Those techniques that always worked? Time to level them up.

That feeling of being on top? Time to earn it all over again.

Jiu-jitsu doesn't just test your technique. It tests your resilience, your discipline, your ego, and most importantly, your HUMILITY.

It teaches you that being good doesn't mean you stop getting smashed. That progress doesn't mean you stop struggling. And that a new belt isn't a finish line — it's an invitation to work even harder.

😈 WICKED SEMINAR AT 10TH PLANET OAKLEY! 😈

Huge thank you to Richie “Boogeyman” Martinez for coming out yesterday and dropping some serious knowledge on the mats!

The experience, details, and techniques shared were next level. Everyone who showed up walked away with some valuable new tools to add to their game.

Thank you again, Richie Martinez , for sharing your time and knowledge with the 10P fam and guests and thank you to EVERYONE who came out, trained hard, and made the seminar such a great one.

Now it’s time to take what we learned and PUT IT TO WORK.

🔥 10P OAKLEY x NAGA 🔥

The squad showed up and got AFTER IT today! 🤼‍♂️💥 Proud of everyone who stepped onto those mats and put their game to the test.

🥈 First-time Naga competitor and new to the comp scene made his presence known! Fought hard, learned some lessons, and walked away with SILVER. First one down — many more to come!

🥇🥇🥇🥉 Another First-time savage took on FOUR divisions, TWO of those being a weight class above their normal division, and came home with 3 GOLDS + 1 BRONZE! No easy routes. Just work.

🥉 Holding it down for the adults with 1 win, 1 loss and a BRONZE, plus some valuable experience battling different styles and adding more tools to the game.

Medals are great, but getting out there, testing yourself and finding ways to LEVEL UP is what it’s all about.

And none of it happens without the teammates and coaches putting in rounds back at the gym. It takes a team, but more importantly, it takes a FAMILY.

Proud of the squad. Appreciate everyone who helped get them ready.

Now let’s get back on the mats tomorrow. 😈🔥

🥉 BRONZE AT PANS! 🥉

Coach Arnal went out to New Jersey this weekend to compete at **Pans** and put it all on the line. The goal was gold, and while the day didn’t go exactly as hoped, he’s still coming home with some hardware — BRONZE! 🥉🔥

It takes a lot to step onto those mats, test yourself against some of the best, and be willing to win, lose, learn, and keep pushing forward.

We’re proud of Coach Arnal for continuing to lead by example — not just coaching from the sidelines, but getting out there and competing himself. 💪

Now it’s time to get back home, get back on the mats, learn from it, and keep leveling up.

Proud of you, Coach! The work continues.

10th Planet Oakley is a diamond in the rough, respectfully and in the best way possible. Owner Anthony Arnal is super down to earth, incredibly hospitable and based on his ears a monster on the mats. If you’re in the Oakley area definitely go check them out!!
