Grant being 500RPM down was still able to make the show during Qualifying and then was able to bring it from 14th to 5th. Well done!! This was a win in other ways. 🏁

After battling issues in practice and qualifying, Grant Griesbach move forward from 14th to a 5th place finish picking up the Lefthander Performance Hard Charger Award.

Well, it wasn't the beginning of the night we wished for at Dells Raceway Park in our Midwest Truck Series GT60 but no one gave up. We were down 500RPM all of the practice sessions and qualifying. There is a short period of time to try and isolate the issue. We put the truck away from the last race running great and then the low power. Checked gears, valve springs, push rods and rocker arms. Spark plugs showed rich. We also pulled up the distributor cap and check timing. It was never a dead miss. Still low on power and time to qualify. Grant T Griesbach did a great job qualifying 14th and put us in the show. Now time to fix our problem. It ended up being the carburetor floats set way high and causing too rich of fuel and also rich indication on spark plugs. No one had moved the float adjustment front or rear. Again it was never a dead engine miss. I want to thank my team and extras for helping us do this crazy race thing. Jon Weinkauf, and his family, Sara, Addy, CC and Olivia, My wife Lori, AJ and Nicole, Lisa and Conrad Morgan, Donavan Morgan, Grant, Jeremy Griesbach and Craig Kowaleski, Scott and TJ Graf, Alexander Larson, Keith Slagg and most of all Steph Clements for finding my glasses.

📣Let's pack the house for Conrad's Last Race this coming Sunday night at Slinger Super Speedway. Hard to believe there are only 3️⃣more sleeps until his final laps. Let's show Kelsey & Travis Dassow how supportive Conrad Morgan Racing fans truly are. Come down in the pits afterwards to have Conrad sign one of his new speed cards created by Dave Olson at Studio 360 Photo. There will also be a banner you can sign for Conrad.

Working in the shop on the GT60 Midwest Truck Series packing wheel bearings and changing gears listening to Shinedown. See Kevin Zielezinski it's all in the music that fuels me. Up next is the Jim Sauter Classic 50 at Dells Raceway Park September 5Th.

Officials with Grundy County Speedway, Mid-Am Racing Series, and the Midwest Truck Series have made the decision to cancel the Saturday August 15th event.

While the window may appear sometime Saturday afternoon, the conditions will be less than ideal for pit parking, fan parking, and the saturation levels under the track surface.

In addition many truck teams will be traveling and we don't want to chance the expense if we cannot get the show in.

Last night we attended Burn Camp, a camp for burn injured kids. Burn camp is a weeklong camp where kids 7-17 come together to have fun and not think about their injuries as much as possible. We brought the truck down for Race Car night for the kids to see, sit in and ask questions about. We gave our trophy that we got at Madison to a young girl who was beyond excited to get it and carried it proudly to show her friends. We handed out bags filled with an autographed speed card, candy, stickers and bubbles. It really shows how little our problems are when you see what they had to go through and continue to go through. We want to thank Shelley Greenwald for organizing such an amazing event. What an amazing turn out of race vehicles, drivers, crews and families. Thank you to all the other racers for taking the time out of their day to come support the event. Midwest Truck Series
