Huge congratulations to Fred “Sea Walker” Walker and crew!
Big Salmon Resort shared the results from the 2026 Braggin’
Rights Derby, and Fred came away with both the biggest halibut and biggest lingcod — a 65.2 lb halibut and a 27.6 lb lingcod.
Fred runs Sea Walker Charters, is part of the Prolite team, and puts Prolite rods to work in one of the toughest fisheries in the Northwest.
We’re proud to see him getting it done out of Neah Bay. Congrats again, Fred. Well earned. Happy Fishing! SeaWalker Charters

Ready-to-ship rods are a little limited right now.
That happens when rods leave the shop faster than we can replace them on the rack.
Some rods are finished and ready to go exactly as they sit. But if the setup you want isn’t sitting there pre-built, you don’t have to wait around hoping the next one lines up with how you fish.
That’s what custom orders are for.
Starting a custom order puts your rod into the build lineup. We help you choose the right direction, build it around what you fish for, and get it finished with our 30-day custom rod guarantee.
Know someone who’s been talking about getting a custom rod built? Send this to them or tag them below.
We’ll pick one person from the comments this week and send them a $50 Prolite shop credit.
Ready-to-ship rods are available when we have them.

We’re proud to sponsor the King of the Spring Tournament, presented by High Class Tackle Co.
This tournament is built around what spring salmon fishing is all about: good water, good people, and a little leaderboard pressure to keep things interesting.
We were happy to put 2 Prolite 360 Troll rods into the giveaway and be part of an event that brings salmon anglers together.
Registration is still open, and High Class Tackle has signups 40% off. Get signed up, go fish, and take your shot at King of the Spring.

Good luck to everyone fishing it. We’ll be watching the leaderboard. And here’s a little extra from us: turn in the tournament winner during our sponsor week, and we’ll make sure you get a new Prolite trolling rod too.
HAPPY CATCHING!

A local tackle shop is not a middleman.
It’s where anglers ask questions, get advice, swap stories, support events, and stay connected to the water and each other. It’s part of what keeps fishing culture alive.
That’s why Prolite believes in working with local retail partners.
When you buy a Prolite rod through a retail shop, that purchase reaches farther. It supports the shop owner, the employees, the builders, the suppliers, the local events, and the community around it.
We could build a business that only serves ourselves. But that’s not what we’re here to do.
We want Prolite to be part of the community, not pulled away from it. We want to give more than we take, support the people around us, and help keep local fishing culture strong.
Built in Washington. Sold through people who care. Fished by people who get it.
