Some of the 16U Lady Bucs proudly represented OMHA at the Northern Prospects Showcase in Malone this weekend, putting their talent, teamwork, and determination on full display. Skating alongside some of the top players from across the U.S. and Canada, the girls took full advantage of the opportunity to compete at a high level while showing off their skill, hockey IQ, and love for the game.
With players traveling in from all over North America, the event also featured a strong coaching presence, including staff from about a dozen different colleges. Among them was Mark Digby, head coach of SUNY Oswego, adding even more value and exposure for the athletes participating. Nice job girls!

Our annual meeting will be held on Tuesday March 24, 2026, at 6:30pm in the McCrobie Building on Lake Street in Oswego.
The agenda for the meeting will contain a review of the prior season, presentation of various awards including the annual OMHA scholarships, presentation & review of financial reports for the organization, the election of members for open seats on the board of directors, and the discussion of any new or old business being conducted or considered by the organization.
There will be three (3) board seats up for election this year, as the following current board members’ terms are expiring: Ben Miller, Josh Flett and Greg Sharkey.
Regarding the election of Board Members, the following provision is from the OMHA Constitution:
Eleven board members shall serve 3-year terms. These Directors shall be elected by the qualified voting members at the Annual Meeting. Any member, at least 18 years of age, is eligible to be nominated for a position on the Board of Directors. The nominee shall be present at the Annual Meeting or submit a letter of intent. Voting shall be by secret ballot.

💙🏒 Oswego Minor Hockey Showing Up BIG for Our Community 🏒💙
This week, our Mite and Tyke families came together in an incredible way to support Blessings in a Backpack—an organization that is currently feeding over 400 local students, ensuring they have food on the weekends when school meals aren’t available.
Between cereal drop-offs at The Fort and generous Venmo donations, this effort turned into multiple deliveries—this photo alone represents just one part of what was collected.
This organization directly supports children right here in our community, and it gives our players and families the opportunity to learn what it means to show up for others off the ice.
We are so proud of our Tykes and Mites, and all of the families behind them, for coming together like this.
This is what hockey family is all about. 💙🤍
