Today, we saw ours.

People gave up nearly 10 hours of their day to build, move, clean, carry—and help prepare Lake for its next chapter. They showed up with their time, their strength, and their belief in what we are creating together.

We have said it time and time again: Lake is nothing without its community. But today, those words took on an entirely new weight.

It was profoundly humbling to see who showed up—and how fully they gave.

There is nothing like the Lake community.

Nothing.

Classes are on this Saturday and Sunday! As we continue putting both studios back together, things may look a little different and some amenities may be temporarily limited throughout the weekend.

We expect everything to return to normal within the next week. Until then, we’ll embrace the imperfect—just as we do in our practice—and remain grateful to be together again.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝘆. 💜
In less than five hours, our incredible community helped us completely disassemble the studio so our new flooring could begin. These photos and videos capture what Lake Yoga has always been about—community.

A few important updates:

* Lake Yoga is closed Wednesday, August 12 through Friday, August 14.
* Classes resume Saturday, August 15.
* Towels, including cold lavender towels, may be limited or unavailable Saturday morning as we finish resetting the studio.
* Want to help Saturday? Work begins at 12:30 PM. Please DM us directly to volunteer.

This summer, Julia became Lake Yoga’s first-ever intern after completing her 200-hour yoga teacher certification — and what a joy it has been watching her grow. ✨

From shadowing our team to stepping in to lead multiple class styles, Julia approached every opportunity with kindness, curiosity, and heart. Our students noticed too, sharing just how welcoming and genuine she is.

Julia, thank you for spending your summer learning, teaching, and growing with us. We’re so grateful you’ll always be part of Lake Yoga’s story.
