Our football family is heartbroken by the sudden passing of Eric Ashenfelter, father of one of our young athletes.

We are keeping his son, family, and everyone who loved Eric close in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

One of the greatest parts of being a football family is knowing that when one of our own is hurting, we rally around them. A GoFundMe has been created to help support Eric’s family in the days ahead.

If you are able, please consider donating or sharing the link below. Every contribution, share, and message of support means so much.

From all of us at the MatSu 49ers, we send our deepest condolences and love to Eric’s family. 🖤 ❤️🏈
