Congratulations to Tami and Vince on being this year’s Dehner Doubles Champions! It was an exciting 2-game championship matchup. The duo of Roberto and Tim fought their way back from the losers bracket of the double elimination tournament and forced a second game by beating Tami and Vince. Roberto and Tim were the only team to defeat the champions the entire tournament. The final game was an exciting 14-end slugfest with the two teams trading leads right up to the end.

Getting some love from the City of Pasadena

A very warm PLBC welcome to our three newest members: Nancy Monk, Brian and Pamela Hughes! Welcome to the Historic greens of the Pasadena Lawn Bowling Club!

Had a unique lawn bowling experience- bowled at a brand new lawn bowling club in Canada. The Gretzky Lawn Bowling Club opened its green less than a year ago in Brantford, Ontario. It replaced the nearby Dufrin LBC which closed 3 years ago. With all the clubs closing, it’s nice to see that greens are still being built. It’s a beautiful setting with farmland and a golf course as a back drop. Thank you for the hospitality. If you are ever in Pasadena come check us out.

Congratulations to the Santa Anita Lawn Bowling Club for their victory in this year’s Route 66 Challenge! SALBC won 2 games to 1 in an exciting and competitive tournament. Thanks to Santa Anita for hosting a great event. We’ll see you in June of 2027!
