River Speed: around 25 CFS
River Depth: around 1 FT
River Temp: 70 degF
Today’s Forecast: 81 degF

Basically;
The drought has been rough on the river here and we’re overdue for a good rain. When the leaves are resting on the water surface and not moving down river, you know it’s slow! You’re going to have to paddle to move forward and plan to portage along the way! But don’t forget to look for treasure while there’s more river bottom exposed!

Basically;
The combination of extreme heat and drought has made the Harpeth the lowest and slowest it’s been all season. It’s great treasure hunting conditions but it’s going to be an extra bit of effort to ride the river right now. Expect to paddle and portage if you’re getting out there!

Basically;
It’s low, it’s slow, but summer is ending so we’re still looking to go! Plan to portage some and put in some paddling effort to move forward but enjoy all the greenery and warm before the leaves all fall and it gets cold again!
