Hello FLiCKster's!!!
As you know , Its been a while since we have closed our doors. However, I do want to fill you in on a few things that are going on.
1. Princeton Pong opened up and I've played there recently. Its a great place and has the same feel as FLiCK facility with some improvements. They have a vibrant group lessons program for kids and League nights for all ages. Coaches for Private lessons are available . Its only 30 min up Rt 1 in Princeton. Get off on the Alexander Rd exit and make rights its a light on your left and you have arrived.
2. Trolly Car Table Tennis is always an option. Also with coaches but not as a vibrant kids program. Its close to Center City and is slowly getting serious about taking care of the facility.
WILL FLiCK ever re-open? Possibly, But not in the way it was before.
I still have all the equipment and tables and I am formulating a plan to use them in the best possible way.
In the meantime, my tables are sitting and collecting dust. (16 tables)
If you are looking to run a tournament at a certain location (your school, business, extra tables for your club) let me know and we can work out the details. I would prefer to use the tables to introduce new blood into our community. So doing mall exhibitions etc would be a fun activity to do. This would be great for the HS players. I am open to all ideas.
So thats where FLiCK is at the moment.
