Some basic skate…THIS is a small example of why I work so hard at BURN. The body work and dedication is really showing in my skating. I’m getting tricks I would not have had endurance, muscle or fortitude for after my derby league shut down. It also helps immensely with injury prevention. I love you peeps. See you for more butt-whoopin’ torture as we roll into 2021. 😍

I missed my Tukee Tribe today, but still got my burn on at Burn Boot Camp Whitefish Bay (Milwaukee). It’s so awesome wherever there is a Burn we can just walk in and workout. They are just as super friendly too. 😁

EGGS. 🥚 🍳

One of life’s most versatile foods! While egg whites are a lean source of protein, most of its nutrients reside in the yolk. Whole eggs are a complete source of protein that have all 9 essential amino acids. Whole eggs include vitamin A, D, E and K and are also high in B6, B12 and folic acid. ⠀

So, go on, eat the WHOLE egg!
Find a good balance between both! (1 whole egg to 3 tablespoons of egg whites is a good start!)

Here is a healthy and easy crockpot recipe to make for you and your family 😋

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
4 cups low sodium chicken broth
1 large yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans (15-ounces, each) low sodium Great Northern Beans, drained and rinsed well
1 can (4.5 ounces) green chilies
1 cup sweet corn kernels, drained and rinsed
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
lime wedges, for serving
1 avocado, sliced or diced, for garnish
jalapenos slices, for garnish, optional
sour cream, for garnish, optional
chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish

Place chicken on the bottom of your slow cooker.
Add chicken broth, onion, garlic, beans, green chilies, and corn.
Stir in cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
Cover and cook for 3.5 to 4 hours ON HIGH, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Or cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours, or until chicken is done.
Remove chicken breasts from the pot and place on a cutting board; let cool for a few minutes.
Shred chicken and set aside.
Transfer about 1 cup of the soup into a blender and process until blended; stir it back into the soup until thoroughly combined.
Stir shredded chicken back into the soup.
Ladle chili into bowls; serve with lime wedges and garnish with avocado, jalapeno slices, sour cream, and cilantro.
Serve 😍

Burn Boot Camp is a boutique fitness concept where like-minded women come together, build confidence, and inspire one another through fitness. Camps are offered multiple times throughout the day, last 45 minutes, and are comprised of 72 different styles and 15 different formats. Workouts take place on our proprietary Floating Floor with individualized attention in a group fitness setting. Clients learn far more than just healthy eating and exercise tips at Burn Boot Camp, as the concept strays from the competition by operating on a five pillar philosophy to help clients achieve success: mindset, whole food nutrition, burst training, strength training and positive environment.
