Still smiling thinking about this past weekend at Suncoast Dancesport Classic đ€
We are so incredibly proud of our students and the way each of you showed up on that floor. Not just the placements (which were amazing), but the confidence, the growth, the commitment, and the heart you brought into every single dance. Thatâs what makes these moments so special. Watching you step out there and own your dancing after all the hours of practice is everything.
A special little moment for us as well⊠this was Hanlinâs first competition with the team, and it meant so much to see her out there, fully stepping into this next chapter. Just the beginning, and weâre already so excited for whatâs ahead.
The evening session was truly beautiful. A gorgeous dinner, awards shared together, and a stunning show by Andrei Koslovsky and Nino Dzneladze that reminded all of us why we fell in love with dance in the first place.
A heartfelt thank you to Sid Pocius for always creating such a red carpet worthy event. Your dedication to supporting students and giving them a space to grow, perform, and shine does not go unnoticed.
We feel so lucky to share this journey with all of you. Already counting down to the next one âš

Before the spray tans.
Before the rhinestones.
Before correcting your heel leads for the 47th time.
Before overnighting the perfect gel polish to match your competition dress.
We were just kids.
Yes⊠even the one who now demands pointed toes at all times? Once cried because their mom wouldnât let them wear Latin shoes to bed.
The one who lectures you about posture? Definitely hunched over a computer playing RuneScape.
The one who says âAGAIN, with feelingâ ⊠was probably dramatically performing in the living room for absolutely no one.
Every polished instructor you see now started as a slightly chaotic, overly dramatic, snack-dependent child with big feelings and even bigger dreams.
So when we push you, fix your frame, and make you run that routine one more time⊠just know it all started with a kid who loved to dance and never really stopped.
And honestly? Weâre still just kids. We just have better costumes now. See if you can guess whoâs whođ

Kids Day at Florida Star Ball will forever be one of our favorite days of the year. đ„čâš
There is something so special about watching these kids step onto a big competition floor with nerves in their eyes and then seeing that shift happen⊠the music starts, their posture lifts, and suddenly theyâre shining. The confidence. The focus. The pure joy when they realize, âI did it.â
Dance gives them so much more than steps. It teaches discipline, resilience, how to work with a partner, how to handle wins and losses with grace. It gives them community. It gives them something to be proud of. And as teachers, getting to witness that growth is everything.
We are so proud of every single one of our kids who showed up, worked hard, and represented with heart last weekend. You are braver than you know.
If youâve ever thought about getting your child involved in dance, this is your sign. đ Whether theyâre shy, full of energy, or somewhere in between, ballroom builds confidence in a way few activities can.
Send us a message and letâs get your kid on the floor. Their future self will thank you.
