After years of people asking, we’re excited to begin piloting PB Group Training.

This has been a long time coming. We wanted to make sure that if we offered a group training experience, it reflected the same coaching standards and attention to detail that Pinellas Barbell has become known for.

Our first pilot class will be FREE this Wednesday at 6:00 PM. Each session will be one hour, with the group capped at 8 people to ensure everyone receives quality coaching and individual attention.

Each workout will blend strength training, interval work, and circuits into a structured program that’s challenging, scalable, and designed to help you move better, get stronger, and improve your overall fitness. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve conditioning, or simply train with more purpose, every workout can be adjusted to meet you where you are.

This is a great fit if you’ve wanted more structure in your training, enjoy the accountability of working alongside others, or are looking for something different than a typical gym routine. Maybe your kids are already here training and you’ve been waiting for something of your own. Maybe you’re looking for an hour to invest in yourself after work. Whatever your reason, our goal is to create an environment where you can show up, work hard, and leave feeling better than when you walked in.

As we pilot this program, we’d love your feedback. Fill out the interest form and let us know:
• What days and times work best for you.
• What you’d like to see from future classes.
• Any ideas or suggestions that would help us build the best possible group training experience.

Our goal isn’t to create another generic fitness class. We want to provide a high-quality coaching experience that helps people train with purpose, stay accountable, and become part of a community that values long-term progress.

If you’re interested, fill out the interest form. We look forward to seeing you Wednesday at 6:00 PM and building something great together.

Congratulations to our June Milo Award recipient, Amy Heintz Kraus .

The Milo Award recognizes more than results—it honors the character, consistency, and commitment required to pursue excellence day after day. It represents the individuals who embrace the process, trust the work, and continue showing up long after the excitement of a new goal has worn off.

Amy embodies that standard.

Grounded by her faith, supported by her family, and driven by a level of discipline that rarely wavers, she has embraced every part of the journey. The results are evident—from improvements in body composition to hundreds of pounds added to the bar, and from mastering her nutrition to continuing to raise the standard for herself and those around her.

What stands out most, however, is the impact she has on the community. Amy genuinely cares about the people around her, celebrates the success of others, and has earned the respect and support of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

The work has been consistent. The attitude has been unwavering. The results speak for themselves.

Congratulations, Amy. Well deserved.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Cigar City Brawl happen at Pinellas Barbell.

To the lifters, coaches, referees, volunteers, spotters/loaders, spectators, and everyone who stepped up behind the scenes—thank you. Events like this are never the result of one person. They are built by a community willing to work together toward a common goal.

One of the most important parts of growth is experience. Not every challenge is comfortable. Not every situation is perfect. The ability to adapt, stay prepared, and execute regardless of circumstances is what separates good from great. The best competitors understand that success often comes from making the most of the situation in front of you, not waiting for the perfect one.

This meet came together under a tight timeline, and while there are certainly things we’ll try again, every challenge provided an opportunity to learn. That’s the process. Growth comes from experience. Take the good with the bad and make it all good. Chase the positive experiences—because, more often than not, the memories you take away become the positive results.(Unless you train like an idiot)

Learn. Grow. Execute.

We’re proud to have hosted so many strong athletes and grateful for the trust placed in our facility. We hope to host another meet in the future with more time to prepare and even more opportunities to elevate the experience for everyone involved.

Until then, we’ll keep learning, keep growing, and keep building.

Thank you for being part of it.

Some athletes know their numbers.

Very few know what those numbers mean.

Athlete Pulse helps athletes understand where they currently stand, how they compare to their peers, and what it takes to reach the next level.

Whether your goal is varsity, college athletics, or beyond, Athlete Pulse shows the gap between where you are and where you need to be.

No guessing.
No opinions.

Just data-driven athletic development.

We’re opening the platform for free testing and feedback.
Find out where you stand. Discover what’s next.

Today we want to wish Team Florida Special Olympics Powerlifting the very best as they compete at the 2026 USA Games.

The platform is where strength is displayed, but the journey is where it’s built. Every early morning, every challenging training session, every obstacle overcome has led to this opportunity.

We are incredibly proud of the athletes, coaches, families, and supporters who have helped make this moment possible. Enjoy the experience, represent Florida with pride, support one another, and trust the work you’ve put in.

From your Pinellas Barbell family, good luck at the USA Games. We’re cheering for you every step of the way. 💪🏅🇺🇸
