Congratulations Portage Pride 10U Team!

Portage 10U Pride Wins Gold at Rays Beaver Classic

It was a tremendous weekend for the Portage 10U Pride, whose balanced offense, solid pitching, and stingy defense led them to the gold medal at the Rays Beaver Classic.

Portage finished Saturday’s pool play with a 2-1 record, scoring 16 runs while allowing just seven in three games. The strong showing earned the Pride a spot in Sunday’s championship bracket.

The Pride’s defense was outstanding during bracket play, surrendering only one run in two games. Portage opened Sunday with a 2-0 victory over the Sauk Prairie Eagles before advancing to the championship game against the Poynette Chaos.

In the title game, Portage continued its strong play, defeating Poynette 4-1 to bring home the tournament championship.
