Foraging is easy, just start with the plants you already know.

That’s it. That’s the post.

Next classes: October 24th, November 14th.

Our winter tea making class is back, you should come join us! We walk & talk about plants in a beautiful setting, do a little harvest and then brew a tea using the ingredients we found.

I always bring a few other things I’ve gathered in my travels across the Pacific Northwest to experiment with as well- so if drinking tea in the woods and talking about plants calls to you, I hope you’ll join us.

Making tea from plants I find everywhere I go is one of the simple joys of my life.

Come share the joy with us beginning November 14th, and running twice a month all winter long.

Let’s drink tea & talk about plants in the woods. That’s the class.

Our super popular Foraged Tea Making Class returns November 14th! As usual, it’s held on Saturday mornings in the Multnomah Falls area of the Columbia Gorge. Send me a message through our website to sign up! We’d love to have you in class. ❤️

Winter classes dropped today, we are bringing back the super popular foraged tea making class, but this year it is new and improved!

We’ve combined everything we loved about previous years’ classes all into one three hour excursion.

Expect a fun edible plant walk followed by a preparation lesson using our day’s harvest and taste a selection of teas made with ingredients I’ve gathered from across the PNW.

One of our most popular classes ever, this makes a great gift or date activity for couples. If you’re looking to sign up 2 or more people, it’s cheaper to schedule a private class- reach out through the contact page on our website with your availability to schedule.

Thanks, as always, for your support.

Yes, I am sad to put these classes to rest, but it’s time to make room for the new lessons.

Mini Guides are going on sale ($20 each!) now through November 1st, and then we are closing the shop forever.

Lots of new ideas and classes coming, we are always looking for ways to best serve our community.

Love always,
Norther Emily & the Wild Solitude crew

Psst! Winter classes just launched, click through to our website and go have a look!
