On this Corner We Celebrate Bikes! Last night we Celebrated Trophy Cup! Why do we celebrate bikes here? On this weird corner in North Portland?
This corner has a long history of bicycles…
20 years ago Joseph Ahearne rented a small spot on 118 N. Williams…2 years later Nathan opened Metropolis on 2249 N Williams. 1.5 years later Signal Cycles and Corsa Concepts Wheels moved into the space between. In the Building we call home and across the street we have had Breadwinner, Sugar Wheel Works, Cascade Suspension, Metrofiets, MAP Cycles, Igleheart Cycles, Endurance PDX, Page street Cycles, Knight Wheels, Pedal Bike Tours, Mike Muzik Spoke Cutting, and Matt Schwar bike building. We have also had artists that were cyclists share this building, like +•Roll Hardy•+ and Matt Hall
Although we are the last ones here on our bike corner, we love celebrating bikes here here!

Holy moly is Westside Trail Federation FRIENDURO a blast. We had the opportunity to volunteer as a checkpoint. Turns out blowing a bubble of Big League Chew is kinda hard after shredding Fear and Looming. Thanks for the best time Westside Trail Federation

Spot Check! Wilder Trails in Newport Oregon. You can ride to both trail systems in Newport. This system on the south end of the bay and Big Creek to the north. This Wilder trails have longer CX style rooty trails. With one fun flow trail. There is a b**r hall in the parking area if that is your thing, or there is amazing seafood .25 miles away at South Beach Fish Market. Most of these trails are a 2 way trail with punchy climbs and fast descents . Tons on mushrooms are popping right now. Go check it out! This system maintained by the NEWTS Newport Trail Stewards

Today is the day! Come out to Liepold Farms Oregon for the Trusty Switchblade Kermesse p/b Metropolis Cycles PDX! Tomorrow is Team S*M CX Sellwood Cycle Repair Corn Cross. This corse is so fun. Our friend Jay asked for a custom do everything commuter bike to upgrade from his Long Haul Trucker. Jay chose the 𝚂𝚞𝚛𝚕𝚢 𝙱𝚒𝚔𝚎𝚜 Straggler frame with a custom set of wheels that includes a dynamo hub. Getting ready to light up the dark streets. Portland Design Works fenders, Velocity USA Blunt rims SRAM Road Apex Eagle drive train. Enjoy your new commuter Jay! 💚
