I wanted to congratulate Jason on his WEEK of PR’s!!!!🤩🥳

Last week was our final week of our strength phase before we moved onto the next phase, and Jason decided to go for PR’s in all his major lifts!!! He definitely succeeded.

🔥Trap Bar deadlift - 3 reps at 325
🔥 Barbell bench press - 3 at 165
🔥Barbell hip thrusts - 8 at 315
🔥 Back squats - 5 at 235
🔥 Barbell bent over row - 8 at 155

When Jason sets his mind to something, he gets it done!!! So proud of you Jason!!!

Marjorie is killing it!

After a required (but unwanted) week of rest, Marjorie came back to the gym fresher and stronger than ever. She PR’d on her bench press hitting 125 🤯 and barbell hip thrusts at 310‼️

A reminder that growth doesn’t just happen when you’re pushing - it happens when you recover. Your body adapts during rest and when you give it what it needs, it can surprise you!

So proud of you, Marjorie! 🙌

I wanted to highlight some of the many wins Mary Lou has had lately!!!!🔥

She’s really been focused on her dumbbell bench press and has been upping her weight week to week. This week, she got a few reps with 50 lb dumbbells🤯INSANE!!! Anyone who has done these before knows that’s some serious weight to press.🔥🔥🔥

Today, I got to work with Mary Lou on her back squats! Which is a new exercise for her this month. She got up to 90 lbs today! She feeling more confident week by week with them.

Another exercise she’s been really focused on is her split squats! She’s shown doing these in the video. She used to do assisted split squats, using a stick to support her. Then she worked her way up to doing them unassisted. Now, she’s challenging herself by holding onto a weight. Shes got up to 18 lbs and feeling more stable than ever!

Super exciting stuff! Really proud of her hard work and how she continues to challenge herself. 💪

LET’S GO LISA! Today Lisa hit a massive PR on her trap bar deadlift…. 200 lbs!!! 🚨

Lisa has been working this lift up for years now. Her previous PR was 185 and today she worked up to 195 before deciding to go for an extra set at 200 lbs!!! The room was electric!⚡️

Lisa talks about the importance of this lift to her and being able to support her parents if they ever fell and needed her. There are so many reasons that we need to be strong. 💪

Shout out to Tracy! 💪

Over the last few weeks, Tracy has stepped UP her game. She has started incorporating some more technical lifts into her routine - Bench Press, Trap Bar Deadlift, and this sweet Landmine SA Press variation! 💥

After spending some time getting started with us, we slowly started to make progressions with her programming. Now, Tracy is pushing her strength training to new levels! 🙌

Let’s hear it for Kathy! Kathy joined On Target Fitness 3 months ago with a goal to improve her strength and mobility for horseback riding. The hip mobility and lower body strength exercises in Kathy’s program have been especially helpful for that goal. She is feeling stronger and more mobile already and is ecstatic with how it has benefited her riding! And beyond that, Kathy is feeling so good in her every day life that she now views strength training as a forever part of her life moving forward.

I am so happy to hear all of the benefits Kathy is experiencing already and can’t wait to see where this effort takes her. Amazing work, Kathy!

Happy Birthday, John 🥳🥳

We had a ton of fun celebrating John’s birthday!!! Crown and all 👑 the sash was his favorite part though 😂😂

AND happy 1 year anniversary at On Target Fitness!! John started his fitness journey here on his birthday last year and we’ve had such a good time working with him! So proud of his consistency. Whether it’s skiing, playing pickleball, or coaching soccer, John’s always on the go, and feeling stronger doing it all!
