Bridlepath Equine Center

This evening was spent kicking back and enjoying each other's company for our volunteer summer party! From delicious food, to a pitch fork water balloon toss, to a horse p**p scoop competition....a lot of memories were built and smiles were had. Thank you to our amazing volunteer team for making Bridlepath so special for so many! 🥰

🍌When life gives you bananas, sometimes you just gotta store it on your horse's ears! 🐴

Our sensory trail is currently zoo themed (thank you amazing volunteer team!), and this particular station has the participants reaching for a banana from one tree, bring it over their horse's neck across center line, and then feed it to a monkey on the opposing tree....which in this case, Jasper is now part monkey! 🙈

Thank you Solanco FFA for your kindness and generosity! It's exciting to see the passion and drive these young men and women have for agriculture!

Our FFA chapter loves having the opportunity to give back to such an amazing organization, Bridlepath Equine Center! Thanks to the support of our community at our Community Breakfast, we were able to donate a portion of the proceeds to help support their mission. We are grateful to work alongside such kind and supportive people who believe in agriculture education and our program. Thank you to everyone who attended the breakfast and helped make this donation possible! 🐴💙🌾

We are still smiling with gratitude after our third annual Bridlepath Race Day Fundraiser on Saturday, June 13th!

Thank you to our race participants, sponsors, and community members for making this a memorable day! You ALL are making a large impact on the incredible individuals we serve each week through therapeutic horsemanship. A huge thank you to Gini Woy for capturing some of those moments. Our summer camp season is off to a great start! This crew had a fun-filled day sharpening their horsemanship skills, and we are so proud of the progress each camper demonstrated through the day!

We were honored to launch a new 6-week curriculum in partnership with Friendship Community through May & June! All of the participants did a great job sharpening their horsemanship skills through groundwork, equine nutrition, first aid, and horse care. Looking forward to the next round!

Welcome to our newest instructor, Lena!

Lena just graduated from Delaware Valley University developing her skills in equine management, with a focus on teaching riding lessons and is actively working towards her PATH certification. When asked about this new position, she says that she is "especially interested in building horse and rider relationships and finds such fulfillment in watching riders grow. I also enjoy continuing to learn through hands on experiences. I’m looking forward to contributing my skills in horsemanship and teaching while continuing to develop, learn, and grow! I’m excited to be a part of the Bridlepath team and I cannot wait to meet you all!"

Join us in giving her a warm welcome to the team as we grow the number of amazing individuals we can serve at Bridlepath!

The final touches are being set as we prepare for our THIRD annual Bridlepath Race Day Fundraiser TOMORROW, June 13th! The weather looks beautiful with the morning starting around 65 degrees and warming up to 85 degrees; and the sunshine will be joining all of your smiles, as well! Here are some important housekeeping items:

1. Event Schedule:
8:30am - 5k & 10k Race Start
10:15am - 1 Mile (pet-friendly) Walk **ALL PETS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES**
11am - Kids Giddy-Up Run (Ages 2-8)
10am - Chicken Barbeque UNTIL SUPPLIES LAST
9am, 10am, & 12pm - Guided Tours through our facility

2. Registration & Runner/Walker Bag Pickup will be available TODAY, June 12 from 5-7pm, and reopens TOMORROW, June 13th at 7:30am. This will be located in the upper level of the bank barn. We welcome day-of registrations! Cash, check, and card are accepted.

3. All general parking will be in the horse pasture to the right of the driveway when you pull in, including for chicken barbeque pickup. There will also be a horse tie available for folks arriving in a buggy. Handicap parking will be available in the main Bridlepath parking lot. Parking attendants will be present to help guide people.

4. We will have eating areas (indoor and outdoor) available for folks who are enjoying the chicken barbecue. A full meal costs $10; just the chicken leg & thigh is $5. Cash, check, and card are accepted.
