We are back from camp! I decided to take a few days to recoup before posting. We absolutely adore NWU and what the NDA staff provide there each year. This year, couldn’t have gone better. It’s such a special moment when you walk into a camp with a new team and see familiar faces in your coaching friends and even familiar faces in the other dancers. We just love our Nebraska dance family! And it was super special to be paired with our buddy and have our buddy team in Winnetonka again! lives on!
Our kids were so great, they bonded, tried new things, stayed resilient, stayed positive and helped each other immensely. I was very proud as a coach to watch a team of 10 new and 4 returners work so seamlessly together. Camp tends to set the vibe for the season and I am SO EXCITED for this group and this season.
We received superior and excellent ribbons for all routines. We had dancers earn showmanship and spirit ribbons, THREE all American nominations (one of which to a brand new dancer!) and TWO of those made the All American Team! Two of our kids received pins from staff for being all around awesome and then another dancer received a pin it forward from another camper. We received our Nationals bid, earned 3rd place in team routine, AND we received the spirit award from camp. Every team/coach is asked at the end if they could be on any other team who would they choose and they all want to be Cardettes. I can’t tell you how special that is when surrounded by so much technical talent. What wins we had last week. I’m still riding the high and loving every minute of being blessed to do what I am so passionate about. This wouldn’t be possible without our supporters and we are forever thankful for all we receive.

We will be at the Raytown Hyvee today from 10 am - 2 pm sacking groceries for tips. We will also be selling chocolate, cardinals socks and clear cross body bags. All proceeds and donations go
directly towards the team to help each dancer go to camp in June. ❤️

Raytown it was so good to be back at hyvee today and see the community that supports beyond measure! Thank you for a great day of tips and donations!! We will be back in May and be on the lookout for our spring kids clinic information. ❤️

Shop your Raytown Hyvee tomorrow between 10-2 to get a glimpse of the new season of Cardettes! They will be sacking groceries for tips. There’s a LOT of them this year so we need a Lot of tips. The community support is everything and Hyvee has a great sale going on this weekend. See you all at the store!
