The lost & found box for Angelica has been repaired. Big shoutout to Aaron for cutting a new lid which significantly sped up the job! I’m hoping to swing by the park later today (Friday) and put it back out. Maybe I’m naive for thinking this, but I’m hoping it wasn’t a disc golfer that put their foot through it and it was just some random parkgoer having a bad day. I can assure you that every disc that is returned to the box I try my best to return to the owner. It may not always be in the most timely manner, but i’m doing the best I can for a completely voluntary gig that pays zero dollars 😅😂 the eventual goal is to get a similar set up to Laurelain, but in the meantime, let’s not put our foot through this lid please. Sorry for the delay on this, but just wanted to thank the crew that came out this past Saturday to help cleanup at Angelica! Big thanks to Keith, Aaron, Taylor, Runkle, Greg & Austin!

REMINDER: It’s been a while since we’ve done much work cleaning up in Angelica - it’s getting a bit hairy. We’re having a w**d wacking morning TOMORROW (7/25) starting at 8:00am. Like anything, the more people we get there the quicker it will go. I will bring a couple w**deaters myself as well as extra string, mixed fuel, some safety glasses/shields and bottled water. If you have a w**deater of your own that you could use, please feel free to bring it with you. Close toed shoes and pants are a must. I would also highly recommend wearing a long sleeve shirt and gloves as well (potentially a face covering too). There will be some areas with some poison ivy, which is why covering as much of your body as possible is ideal. If you’re highly allergic, I would suggest not attending as it’s not worth the risk. We will start with the bank on 3 & 4, then move to the hill going down to Yellow 5, and then move to the sides of the fairway on 6. BDGC is having a fun event at Angelica right after at 11am for those who want to stick around and play! Any questions please reach out, hope to see you tomorrow morning!

The sleeve for the final new basket ( Red 8 ) has been set. We know the drill by now, PLEASE DON’T TOUCH IT. Gonna go over tomorrow morning sometime and set the basket in so people can enjoy it this weekend. Shoutout to my great pal Dave Keeler for the assistance today!

I believe we have the two layouts (plus the combo 18) on UDisc now. I’m sure we’ll need some time to work out the kinks and adjust the pars if necessary. Please allow us some time to work that out before an official UDisc review. To make a long story short, we were made aware today that one of our most recent ratings was a 2.5 (pretty harsh in our eyes). That was a real bummer considering how hard many of our core group has been working to improve the place. Please know we had nothing to do with the tree being taken down on 5 (we were bummed about it too) and any brush removal/cleanup with do is to make the course more enjoyable not easier. We want it to be challenging but not the jungle. Thanks to all those who support us, we greatly appreciate it!

8 of the 9 new baskets are in! We’re still working on a special feature for Red #8. Red 1 & 9 are shorter, the rest of the new ones are longer. Give us a few days to update UDisc with all the new details, thank you! Big thanks to Dave Keeler & his crew for all the help both this morning and this afternoon!
