Nightmare Beat Hits Happen On Powerful Performance From Louie

Louie hit two home runs and drove in five as Nightmare defeated Hits Happen 17-7 on Thursday. Louie homered in the fifth and second innings.
Nightmare got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after JT flew out, Ralphy walked, Nicole W walked, Zo walked, and , each scoring one run.
Nightmare added three more runs in the bottom of the second inning on five hits. Jay singled, scoring one run, and Louie homered to center field, scoring two runs.
Nightmare added one run in the third. OG melo singled down the left field line, making the score 9-5.
Nightmare scored seven runs on eight hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Ralphy singled, scoring one run, Zo singled, scoring one run, Carmelo singled, scoring one run, Jay drew a walk, scoring one run, and Louie homered to center field, scoring three runs.
Pepe stepped in the circle first for Nightmare. The starting pitcher gave up 16 hits and seven runs over six innings, striking out two and walking four. Jim Seamann began the game for Hits Happen. The starter surrendered 23 hits and 17 runs over five innings, striking out one and walking four.
Nightmare collected 23 hits in the game. W, Pepe, OG melo, Ralphy, Jodi, Jaye Lynn, Reedy, and Carmelo each collected multiple hits for Nightmare. Nightmare worked the count all day, amassing four walks. Nightmare were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Louie made the most plays with eight.
Hits Happen collected 16 hits in the game. Aj Hersch, Brian McHenry, Dustin Courteau, Seamann, Tyler Miller, and Renae Shultz each collected two hits for Hits Happen. Nick Dunn went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Hits Happen worked the count all day, tallying four walks. Hits Happen turned one double play in the game. Hits Happen were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. McHenry made the most plays with five.
Nightmare will travel to TVBA for their next game on Thursday.
