Some of our fantastic horse help went back to college this fall so we are hiring!

We are looking for part-time help caring for the horses and basic barn chores. Shifts are Monday - Friday, early morning at 6 am and early afternoon, as well as some weekends. Job tasks include cleaning stalls and water buckets, feeding horses, cleaning the aisle ways, and various other tasks around the barn. Considering hiring multiple people, possibly someone for mornings and someone for afternoons. Must be 16 and have reliable transportation.

Please contact RD at 915-471-6845 if you are interested!

Monday, our show team competed at the Fort Bend County Fair Old 300 Horse Show! We are so very proud of our Show Team for doing so well at the competition. We were so thankful to the community who came out to cheer everyone on, and all the volunteers from both The Old 300 Horse Show Committee who put on an amazing show, and Reining Strength who hauled equipment, lead horses, and sidewalked.

Congrats to Jellybean, who won the Apple of My Eye award - more pictures to come!

We are less than one week away from The Old 300 Horse Show!! We would love to have a great crowd to encourage these riders as they show off their equestrian skills.

Please consider coming by to spectate. The show starts at 9 and the Reining Strength team will have coffee and donuts for community members who come to help celebrate these riders. Come and network, and watch a few classes.

We had the pleasure of hosting a Girl Scout meeting on Tuesday evening. The girls were excited to be here to learn more about our mission and meet our horses! Can’t wait for each of them to volunteer when they are old enough!!
