Meet a 🐯🎀: Kadyn Tinglestad
Originally a dancer she brings rhythm, grace, & power to every performance. We love how she blends her dance flow with cheer energy & we’re so lucky to have her on the team! 🧡🖤

Years on team: 1st year
Dance background:
I’ve been dancing for 16 years! I trained in competitive dance and then went to train in pre-professional ballet for 3 years. I was also on my high school’s varsity pom team for 4 years and captain for 2 of those years. I also went to professional ballet intensives during the summer!

Favorite sideline or routine move:
My aerial!

Signature dance style:
Ballet or contemporary

Favorite cheer:
T-A-K-E take that ball away

Go-to game day snack:
A bagel

Go to outfit when you’re rushing to practice:
I wear the practice outfit for the day and usually throw on a sweat set and Uggs.

Favorite thing about performing:
Seeing the improvement from when the team learned the routine to when we are on stage &Feeling proud after all of the work put in!

Dream performance stage or location:
Radio City Music Hall in New York City

Favorite uniform or performance look:
I’m a first year; I like every uniform so far! I love a good half-up, half-down and full uniform.

High pony, low pony, or slick bun:
High pony!

If you weren’t dancing or cheering, what would you do instead?
I would probably be playing basketball… (I’m 5’10”).

Best memory with your team:
Playing games during Halloween practice!
