COMMUNITY LISTENING SESSION: The Mayor’s Office of Domestic and Community Violence Prevention, in partnership with the Youth Services Network and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, is hosting a community listening session focused on better supporting Rockford’s youth and families.

This is an opportunity for youth, parents, caregivers, and community members to:
• Share feedback
• Talk about challenges like service delays or gaps in support
• Offer ideas to improve how systems serve local families

You’ll also hear how feedback from past sessions is already being used to make meaningful improvements.

Today, the Alpine Kiwanis Club presented NWCC with a generous check to support our youth program. These funds will be used to purchase Chromebooks, helping our youth build essential digital literacy skills and succeed in an increasingly technology driven world. We are truly grateful for the Alpine Kiwanis Club 's continued support and commitment to empowering the next generation.

We surprised Ms. Juanita for her 75th birthday. What an honor to celebrate her on her special day! Again, happy birthday Ms. Juanita, we hope you enjoyed the day along with all of your gifts. ❤️

Today, I had the honor of being inducted as a corporate member representing Northwest Community Center into Kiwanis Club of Rockford. It brings me great joy to be part of such an incredible organization that has been serving our community for over 100 years. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms, I truly look forward to serving alongside each of you and continuing to make a positive impact in our community.
