We need YOU! Rockford small businesses wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you.
Today is our LAST day at our current location. We will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to move everything. Moving isn't just a lot of work. It's money. It's money lost from being closed to move. It's money lost from people who haven't heard and think we're out of business. It's money spent on flooring, painting, uhauls and overlapping bills instead of new inventory.
It was TOUGH, but we made the decision to move for more parking, more space, private party room, less overall expenses (more space + less expense= win!). While our new expenses will eventually be less (after our current lease ends and we then have one set of expenses), in the meantime, it will be tough.
How can you help? One of the best ways to help any small business is to comment on their posts and share their posts and events.
Help right now? Buy a gift card online! Use it for yourself or give as a gift for any occasion. This helps us right now and also brings people back in later to enjoy our studio. We see every online purchase and I can tell you, it can bring a sudden smile to an exhausted face. In fact, I am writing this because someone brightened my day with an online gift card purchase today! What can someone get with a gift card? A one of a kind mug, stein, start making those Christmas presents, maybe paint a dragon, animal figure or sign up for an event or workshop. So many options. And they're good for any age!
Moving during our absolute slowest month of the year isn't ideal, but it sure beats moving in the dead of winter!
