🏔️ YOUR RACE WILL TEST MORE THAN YOUR LEGS.

At Rio, you might feel AMAZING at mile 10…and wonder what the heck happened by mile 30. 😂 Your stomach may turn. Your pace may change. That perfect race plan? Something WILL happen.

I know because I’ve been there.  After 25+ years of coaching and competing at an elite level, I’ve learned that some of our biggest breakthroughs don’t come from getting fitter.

They come from training the space between our ears. 🧠
I can almost count on an “UGH, this is HARD” moment around mile 30 of a 100-miler. It happens to me ALL. THE. TIME.
The difference? I’ve learned how to recognize it, change the story in my head, use my mental tools and keep moving forward.

That’s why I created the Mindset Academy. 💥

We’ll work on confidence, the stories we tell ourselves, handling the lows, getting unstuck when things go sideways, and building tools you can actually USE when it gets hard.

We had an amazing day at Dirty Dozen Endurance Race yesterday! 🎉🎉We packed up and headed to Pinole ready to face that 3....

We had an amazing day at Dirty Dozen Endurance Race yesterday! 🎉🎉

We packed up and headed to Pinole ready to face that 3.37 mile loop with our crew chief extraordinaire , Yvette’s Sports and Medical Massage, to keep us fueled and pain free. 💪🏽 (With come cutie furry assistants/cheerleaders in tow) 🐶

Jack Daniels Track Club showed up big time; every single member placed in their relay or age group!! 🎉

-Julie and Chris (Donut Dashers) competed as a relay and left some smoke on the 6 hour course, completing 41.2 miles 🍩
-Melanie ultra shuffle shuffled her way to victory on the 6 hour course, completing 29.9 miles 👟💨
-Angie had some fire coming out of her shoes as she smashed the 6 hour course, completing 26.9 miles 🔥
-Karina, our baby runner fueled by mainly Coke, destroyed the 12 hour course completing 40.2 miles🥤

What a great day with amazing vibes, volunteers, music, and food. Huge thank you to Sam, Jasmin, and the entire Brazen Racing crew for putting on this amazing event. 10/10 recommend them if you have never done a timed format race before. We’ll see you again next year!! ❤️
