USA Gold Wrestling continued on the freestyle / greco circuit with a quick detour to Farmington, UT for the 2026 Western Regional Championship. Declan Leonard placed in both styles and qualified for Fargo while Nate Mitchell went 4-2 in a challenging Freestyle bracket. Next up is California USA Wrestling Inc Association Duals

Congratulations Coach Perry on a 2nd place finish at USA Wrestling Masters Nationals! Perry battled his way through the Group E 78 kg bracket with a 10-2 decision and a fall but lost a hard match in the finals. Way to put in the work in the offseason!

Del Oro wrestlers Declan Leonard, Cooper Sheesley, and Wyatt Valice traveled to Fresno this weekend to compete at California USA Wrestling Inc Cadet and Junior Freestyle State. Declan placed 6th after making it to the semifinals while Cooper and Wyatt finished at 2-1 and 3-2, respectively. Keep up the off season work!
