Oregon guided Kayak Tour Services . All kayak tours includes the gear & shuttling kayaks to location. I am Shannon your tour guide. Mon-Fri tours only.

Oregon Kayak Tours LLC, has recently change biz name from Salem Kayak Rentals LLC to focus more on the kayak tours of the biz. I have over 7yrs exp., CPR, FIRST AID, and WRT certified. I have been in operation since 2019, My website is still www.SalemKayakRentals.com ,I have all the details for prices, videos and slide shows of each tour location on the website. I still rent paddle boards with 24hr notice. Kayak Tours are also booked in advance. Customers choose the location and text me where they like to go. I start tours between 8AM-10:30AM, depends on which location you choose. I have my sunset/ night tours with lights that start in late evening. I run kayak tours all year round, and run a Kayak Club on FB as well for anyone with or without a kayak. I offer free opportunities to learn to kayak in club. All commercial bookings must be sent by text message only to 503-877-8449. I will from there setup the tour. I get really busy during peak season. Please allow 1-2 days for a response. I appreciate your interest.

🚣🏼‍♀️Rules: How to sign up?
It is the first two people who do (Not) have kayaks to leave a post comment and is available flexible all morning to attend and can (commit) on one of those days. Must follow up with Txt message to 503-877-8449 so I can send digital waivers gps.
🚣🏼‍♀️For safety purposes: Must be 230pds or less, and 6’1” or shorter. And able to use a sit inside kayak. Water temps are cooler and want to make sure participants are correct size.
🚣🏼‍♀️What to wear: Shoes that can get wet or waterproof boots, dress comfortable like sweats. Yoga pants, rain pants, no thick jackets. Wear layers it’s a warm season. And warms up quickly. Wear hat, gloves if needed, face shields are always great. However weather is mild this season. Must have a change of Clothes we can place in dry bag if needed.
🚣🏼‍♀️(Everyone typically still steps in and out of the colder water) please wear appropriate shoes. Hat or glasses recommend.

13th 🍁 Fall Paddle Sweet Creek on the SISULAW RIVER Oregon Coast. Sadly after many years paddling here and my fav fall paddle. The crime rate is too high of thieves making their routine rounds to break into car windows and ram sack and aggressive break and damage anything in sight to grab and go , steal and throw away your items. We had two people in our group that were victims to this. I was able to track an air tag inside a purse to the thieves residential motel homes in Florence (Dune City) just off 101hwy. Just for them to turn off air tag after confronting them and reconnect AirTag that was dropped in remote area. On flip side, we had a honest homeless man find friends apple pad in a garbage can just of 126hwy & 101hwy and call friends number on back. My hubby gave him some cash and we got the item unharmed for my friend. I was able to help drive my friend asap to an internet location asap to lock all her credit cards. Lesson learned from this, is never leave any valuables in car. Have extra cash stashed around & a phone number of the cheapest window repair for a just in case. To avoid insurance going up over this. Sadly this will be a few hundred dollars to fix just the window alone and not everything else that wasn’t able to be recovered. This is always a risk factor at all boat launches. However ones just along highways and coast range is hot spots.
