Beautifully stated.
This might honestly be one of my favorite photos from the entire Van & Trike Tour. ❤️
We took this during a ride through the San Antonio Missions with the amazing crews from Texas Parasport and Pedal Guerrero… and to me, it captures everything that makes cycling special.
Veterans.
Adaptive riders.
Recumbents.
Upright bikes.
Fast riders.
Casual riders.
People overcoming injuries.
People just out enjoying life.
All rolling together through history, sunshine, and one of the most unique cities in Texas.
That’s the thing I love most about the recumbent and adaptive cycling world — it quietly removes barriers. Suddenly age, injuries, disabilities, or “not fitting the cycling stereotype” stop mattering so much. People simply get to ride again.
And San Antonio?
What an incredible backdrop for it all. The missions, the roads, the trees, the history… absolutely unforgettable.
Huge thanks again to Texas Parasport and Pedal Guerrero for letting me join the ride. 🙌

Thank you JaYoe! We had so much fun while you where in San Antonio! Happy Riding
Sometimes the best moments on a tour are the ones you never planned. 🚴🔥
During my ride with Pedal Guerrero in San Antonio, we had a surprise guest join the crew — Paul from HP Velotechnik International . Suddenly this casual Texas ride turned into a rolling meetup of trike nerds, riders, veterans, adaptive cyclists, and people who simply love being outside on three wheels.
That’s one thing I’ve learned over and over on this Van & Trike Tour:
the recumbent world is small… but the community is massive.
Different brands.
Different backgrounds.
Different stories.
But everybody rolls together. ❤️
And honestly, rides like this are what make San Antonio special. Big skies, warm weather, good people, and a whole crew of “Pedal Guerrero warriors” out enjoying life.
🚴 Which trike would YOU pick from this lineup?

Today we remember the fallen.
Freedom carries the highest cost: life, blood, and sacrifice. Memorial Day is a reminder that brave men and women gave their lives in service to this nation so others could live free.
At Pedal Guerrero, we honor those heroes with grateful hearts and the promise to never forget what was paid for this country. 🇺🇸
Heart full. Flag raised. Anthem playing. Blessed beyond measure.
If you lost a soldier who gave their life for this country, we invite you to share their name below so they may be remembered today. Let us all take a moment of silence for the fallen and for the families who carry their memory every day.
“Because there ain’t no doubt I love this land… and I proudly stand up next to you and defend her still today… because there ain’t no doubt I love this land… God Bless the USA.”
Remember the Fallen. Never Forget.

This ride in San Antonio turned into something far more meaningful than I expected.
I joined Pedal Guerrero and Texas ParaSport for a ride through the historic Spanish missions of San Antonio alongside veterans, adaptive athletes, recumbent riders, and an incredible community built around cycling and rehabilitation.
For many of the riders here, adaptive cycling wasn’t just exercise — it was a path back toward mobility, confidence, mental health, and community.
Honestly… this one hit different.
Huge thanks to Joseph and everyone at Pedal Guerrero for welcoming me into the group and sharing your stories.

We want to extend our sincere congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Small Business That Made America competition: TGU Home Solutions, Marilyn's, and Four Branches Bourbon.
Being selected as a Top 10 finalist among so many incredible small businesses across America was truly an honor for Pedal Guerrero. As a small, veteran-owned adaptive cycling shop in San Antonio, this recognition meant a great deal to us.
We are incredibly grateful for the support from our customers, friends, family, fellow riders, and community members who voted, shared our story, and stood behind us throughout this journey. Your encouragement reminded us why small businesses matter and why community matters even more.
Most importantly, we celebrate the winners and wish them continued growth and success in the years ahead. Small businesses are built on long hours, sacrifice, passion, and belief in something bigger than ourselves. It was inspiring to stand alongside such outstanding companies from across the country.
From all of us at Pedal Guerrero… thank you. We’re proud to have represented San Antonio, adaptive cycling, and the veteran community on a national stage. https://www.smallbusinessawards2026.com/winner Fox News Fox Business TGU Home Solutions .home.solutions ://www.facebook.com/marilynslakeside/ Four Branches Bourbon
