GET SCUBA CERTIFIED or Take the next steps in your dive journey!

We can teach you everything you need to explore the underwater world using scuba. Most people find it a rewarding challenge—and a life-changing experience.

Let us train you to improve your underwater knowledge and skills and build confidence in underwater navigation, diving deeper, diving at night, fine-tuning your buoyancy, and explore different types of adventure dives.

Become a better prepared diver by getting Rescue Certified. Practice real-world rescue techniques above and below the surface, and strengthen your ability to stay calm and act fast in stressful situations or diving emergencies.

We can also certify you in several specialties such as Wreck Diving, Enriched Air Nitrox Diving, Self-Reliant Diving, Search and Recovery, or take the first step in becoming a Professional diver by becoming a Divemaster!

IDC Complete!
This weekend, I successfully completed the certification as a PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructor‼️
This means that I am certified to certify people in:
• Basic SCUBA
• Open Water SCUBA
• Advanced Open Water (and Sub-Specialties)
• Nitrox Diver
• Rescue Diver
• Divemaster
…and several others!

I’m pretty proud of this. This was NOT EASY.
But - if you know anybody that wants to get SCUBA certified, or up their game… I know a guy!

I’m in love with this photo. This photo fully captures the idea of “Adventure Diving”, and to me is reminiscent of the old Mort Künstler magazine illustrations.
If you’re unfamiliar with , you should check out his page and follow his “Wrecked in my Revo” blog. Each of his trip reports reads like an adventure novel (to me). I’ve been fortunate enough to dive with Brett on a couple of local dives, but I am nowhere near his level (or depth?). Although I’d like to get there!

“I was going through my photos of the HMS Audacious in Malin Head, Ireland and working on my blog post and found this one of three divers at the stern. I like it a lot and thought I would share it ahead of the blog post.”

Pony bottle rig worked out PERFECTLY!!
Walking around with it clipped up is one thing, but on the dive, I couldn’t even tell it was there! It stayed tucked-up nice and tight, no rattling or clanking around. Perfectly horizontal, parallel to my body position!
The regulator is a Highland DIN 1st Stage with an Apeks XTX-40 Octo, and Apeks Tek Gauge.
