“The Raleigh RedHawks wish to express our deepest gratitude for the tent you generously donated to our club. The tent looks fantastic! We were blown away by the design and functionality. Most importantly, the tent made us stand out at the event, in a most prominent and professional manner. The tent not only functions on practicality of purpose, but also provides an inviting gathering spot, further identifying and growing our club’s prominence as part of the community.”

Matchday Tent update
“We are excited to bring our tent with us to all of our tournaments this upcoming season around the US. This will be a great hub for our teams, coaches, and parents to gather in between games, stay out of the sun, and hydrate! We will also be able to use it every week in the summer for our youth matches at our rugby pitch in downtown Anchorage. This will be great for people strolling by in the public park to recognize what we are playing (RUGBY!!!).”
Jami Almonte | Alaska Youth Rugby Coach & Treasurer
On April 9th the US Rugby Foundation Directors and Governors held their Annual General Meeting at the Westin in downtown Houston. They discussed a myriad of topics in a meeting that started at 9:00 am and lasted until 5:00 pm. Guests included USA Rugby Chairman Ross Young, USA Men’s National Team Defensive Coach Scott Lawrence, Major League Rugby Commissioner George Killebrew.
The Foundation had it's first of many Receptions around the country to introduce many to the US Rugby Foundation and gave an update on what the Foundation has been up to.
The weekend was capped off by attending the MLR match between the Houston SaberCats and the Dallas Jackals by all those who participated in the AGM.

“I can’t begin to say what a blessing the US Rugby Foundation has been to us. Last year was our first season as a club. While there are 2 other youth rugby clubs in the surrounding Oklahoma City area, they are both in fairly affluent suburbs, and do not make any effort to recruit any of the roughly 46,000 students in the Oklahoma City public school district. Many of our players come from challenging economic conditions and the support from the US Rugby Foundation was invaluable. Not only did we receive enough balls to outfit us all season from the A Ball 4 All program, we also qualified for the game day tent!”
