If you missed our MCLL teams play ball this past Saturday, you missed some amazing, talented, dedicated kids play Americas Favorite Pastime!

Player of the game for the Longhorns ( Majors 1) was Cole Gabriel. Cole hit an IPHR during Saturdays opening season game against Serra Mesa. The crowd definitely went wild!!
Cole is currently in the 6th grade and loves everything baseball! His favorite team is The Tampa Bay Rays.

This year’s opening day celebration of Murphy Canyon Little League wasn’t just the start of a new season—it was a celebration of 50 years of community, teamwork, and the love of baseball.
It’s not just about the game; it was about honoring a significant moment in our community’s legacy!

For many, our league is where lifelong friendships are forged and where we teach our young players about teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

This 50th anniversary was a perfect opportunity to not only reflect on our leagues excellent community standing, but to also look ahead to the next generation of players who will continue our traditions.

Mark your calendars Murphy Canyon. MCLL is having its 1st annual pancake breakfast this Saturday, March 1st @ 09. The first flap jacks hits the griddle at 09, so come out and have breakfast with us. Our menu also includes both hot and iced coffee, breakfast sandwiches, orange juice and more! Come for breakfast, and stay for opening ceremonies and a great day of baseball!

Today, we celebrate the leaders of our nation, but let’s not forget the legends of the diamond who’ve made history on and off the field. From Presidents who loved the game, to players who’ve inspired generations, baseball and American history are tightly woven together. For all those who are interested in being an umpire for this upcoming season, there is a clinic scheduled on Feb 23rd. Please plan to attend in order to get certified.

Please see the attached flyer for all the pertinent information. Please know, these clinics are mandatory in order to volunteer with Little League. Please plan to attend! Our first clinic of the season is right around the corner. Serra Mesa Little League will be hosting this year's District 33 Upper Division Coach's Clinic. Details are below and a flyer is attached. This clinic satisfies both Skills and Safety Clinic requirements for 2025.
