Pegasus Pilates

UCSD Sailing Team is a club team that competes competitively in the Pacific Coast Conference within ICSA on a Varsity/Division 1 level.

We strive to bring promote excellence in athletics while representing UCSD. The purpose of the UCSD Sailing Team is to encourage, advance, and improve sailboat cruising and racing, in all its phases, among the students of UCSD. Furthermore it shall provide a welcoming social environment and support system for its members.

This past weekend, we hosted the Jeff Simon Memorial Regatta at our home, Mission Bay Yacht Club! ⛵️ With an extremely breezy Saturday and a much lighter Sunday, the weekend was full of excitement and surprises.

A huge thank you to the amazing race committee for their hard work in running a smooth and successful regatta—it wouldn’t have been possible without you! ⚓️

And to all the teams who traveled long distances to San Diego, thank you for joining us! We loved hosting you and hope you had a fantastic time. Can’t wait to see you all back soon! 🔱

Back in mid-January, some of our seniors travel to the beautiful Aloha State, Hawaii, to compete in the Peter Wenner Memorial Regatta! A huge thank you to for hosting such an amazing event ⛵️🔱

This weekend our sailors headed up to Santa Barbara to compete in the Fall Pacific Coast Championships! With winds blowing and waves crashing on Saturday to shifty and light winds on Sunday, our sailors persevered. Thank you to for hosting an amazing regatta!
