TESLA'S NEW ROADSTER: A ROCKET-POWERED ELECTRIC SUPERCAR COSTING NEARLY $300,000!
Tesla's redesigned Roadster is making waves with futuristic stunts and technology inspired by SpaceX. One of its most eye-catching options? A cold-gas thruster system designed to take the driving experience to an entirely different level!
Here's What Makes It So Special
Upside-Down Driving? Tesla demonstrated the Roadster holding an upside-down position on a C-shaped ramp using a specialized underbody suction system.
SpaceX-Inspired Thrusters: The optional cold-gas thruster system uses electric actuators to make precise adjustments to the vehicle's thrust and orientation.
Jaw-Dropping Stunts: During its unveiling event in Texas, the Roadster performed a dramatic ramp jump and used its thruster system to help control its landing. However, the demonstrations were pre-programmed, and these stunts don't necessarily prove the car can perform the same way in everyday driving conditions.
The Price? Absolutely Wild!
• Reservation fee: $5,000
• Additional payment for the base model: $45,000
• Thrust package: An additional $245,000
• Total with the Thrust package: Approximately $295,000
Tesla also introduced a Rocket version featuring a full-flight system, available by invitation only. Its price has not yet been disclosed.
According to the announcement, production is expected to begin in 2028.
Would you spend nearly $300,000 on an electric supercar with rocket-inspired technology?
Is this the future of automotive engineering, or is Tesla pushing the limits of hype?
