Personalized Health & Fitness Experience Tailored to Men & Women 40+ in San Jose,Campbell & Los Gatos

06/05/2026

One of the most powerful moments from our recent Stronger For Today conversation with Dr. Robert Millard came when he shared what he believes is one of the biggest mistakes people make as they age:

"They stop doing things."

As our bodies change, it's easy to become discouraged. Activities may feel harder. Recovery may take longer. We may not move the way we once did.

But that doesn't mean we should stop moving.

In fact, staying active becomes even more important.

Whether it's strength training, walking, golfing, pickleball, cycling, or simply continuing to do the activities you enjoy, movement plays a critical role in maintaining health, mobility, and independence as we age.

This conversation is a great reminder that getting older doesn't mean giving up the things you love. It means finding ways to keep doing them.

What the Winter Olympics Teach Us About Longevity 02/27/2026

❄️ What the Winter Olympics Teach Us About Longevity ❄️

When we watch the Winter Olympics, it’s easy to focus on the speed, strength, and big moments.

But here’s what stood out to us this year:

The 2026 Games featured an unusually high number of athletes in their 50s — including 54-year-old U.S. curler Rich Ruohonen, the oldest American Winter Olympian ever.

That’s not about extreme sports.

That’s about longevity.

It’s about consistency.
It’s about training smart.
It’s about showing up for decades — not just for one big moment.

At Method3, your “Olympics” might look like:
✔️ Keeping up with your grandkids
✔️ Traveling confidently
✔️ Playing golf or pickleball pain-free
✔️ Feeling strong in everyday life

You don’t need a medal to train with purpose.

You just need to keep showing up.

We wrote a short blog reflecting on what these athletes can teach all of us about playing the long game.

Because living stronger for today isn’t about extremes — it’s about durability.

At first glance, this might look intense. 🔥

In reality, sled pushes are one of the most joint-friendly ways to build strength, power, and confidence—especially for adults 45+.

They’re easy to scale, low impact, and allow us to train strength in a way that supports everyday movement.

At Method3 Fitness, every exercise is coached, adjusted, and chosen with intention—so training works for your body, not against it.

This is what thoughtful strength training looks like.

This approach is especially helpful for adults 45+ who want extra guidance, are managing old injuries, or simply prefer a more personalized environment.

A lot of people assume group training isn’t for them.

They worry it will be too intense, too fast-paced, or that they’ll feel out of place.

At Method3 Fitness, our group fitness classes are intentionally small, coach-led, and designed for adults 45+.

Our coaches know your name, pay attention to how you move, and care about helping you feel comfortable and confident—no matter where you’re starting from.
