Friday Mixed League

Our last night of regular golf saw a great turnout, glad so many people participated. The game was a combination of scramble with Chapman Scotch. Winners were Lori and Dick Krebs with Meghan and Tom Donahue, congrats!

This Friday is our annual Battle of the Sexes--our 20th year! We are changing up the format this year to see if people like it--captain and mate. Two-person teams will consist of two women or two men. Sign up as teams and make your own foursomes. The tournament will still be all the women against all the men. We will get people's opinions on whether they like the format or prefer individual play.

Please sign up by this Tuesday, September 8, on our bulletin board in the pro shop or by calling the pro shop at 315-387-5297.

Cost is $3 for the game and $25 for the lasagna dinner. If you cannot make the golf, please join in for the dinner. Feel free to bring guests for dinner.

Golf is shotgun start at 4 with registration at 3:30. Hope you can participate!

Friday Mixed League

Hope everyone enjoyed last Friday's game. Winners were Alicia & Tom Pizzuto with Donna & Dan Hartnett, congrats! Long drives on No. 9 were hit by Libby Jones and Andy Foote--great shots!

This week's game is a four-person scramble combined with two-person Chapman Scotch, hope everyone enjoys it.

Friday, September 11, is our 20th Battle of the Sexes, hoping for a great turnout! This year's format is a two-person Captain & Mate, where teams of two women or two men sign up together as a team. Teams then make their own foursomes, which can be any combination of golfers. We are trying this format for the first time to see if people like it, so let us know what you think.

Golf for the Battle is a shotgun start at 4 p.m., with registration at 3:30. Following golf is our traditional lasagna dinner in the clubhouse. Cost is $3 for the game and $25 for the dinner. If you cannot make the golf, we hope you can come for dinner. Feel free to bring dinner guests.

Signup for the Battle is on our bulletin board in the pro shop. Please sign up by Tuesday, September 8. If you cannot sign up in person, please call the pro shop at 315-387-5297 to register.

Winnings for this summer are posted on our bulletin board and can be used this season in the pro shop our restaurant. Check it--you may have credits to your account.

Start with an 18-hole, 2-man scramble qualifier with the Top 20 teams advancing to a 9-hole shootout!
