OTD in 2015, Mike Trout wasted absolutely no time making his mark on the MLB All-Star Game. Leading off for the American League against the best pitchers in baseball, Trout stepped to the plate with millions watching and immediately gave fans a moment they’ll never forget.
On just the second pitch of the game, Trout launched a leadoff home run into the Cincinnati night. It was the perfect start to another unforgettable All-Star performance, as he went on to become the first player ever to win back-to-back All-Star Game MVP awards.
