We want to apologize to everyone that plays volleyball with us during the summer and trusts us with their summer fun. We had several issues that were fu**ed. The parks department wasn't working to fix fields. Or take care of them. So be safe. Hackers took over or a MAJORITY of our accounts. Both personally and professionally. So we couldn't even communicate or pay for anything for months. So we won't be running anything this year.
Next year, will be run by new admin. Sorry for the inconveniences.

Where Community Meets Competition! High Level Volleyball Leagues ran by the community We then decided to re-name ourselves: SideOut Seattle.
HISTORY: We started as a small group on www.meetup playing volleyball at Green Lake in Seattle. We called ourselves: Greenlake Sports: Coed Volleyball and Other Activities. When Fall came and the weather changed, we moved indoors and started a league which we just called: Greenlake Volleyball. After a few seasons, and a lot of growth, we realized that we needed to expand outside of the Green Lake area. Our motto: Where friends make friends.
FYI.... The site admin took Friday off so we haven't been able to address a few items for the bb league. But we're scheduled for Monday.
Closing in on what looks like a sunny reverse coed grass 2s this Saturday. No softball scheduled so a chance to use all the field closer to the usual set-up location. I will post a list of net providers ASAP. In the meantime there are potentially 2x slots to max if any last minute participants and one stronger guy looking for a gal to play with if anyone available/ interested.

SideOut Seattle Summer Leagues are officially a go! We are scheduled for the season, a 3 week double elimination tourney, a potluck hangout day, and this years tank top orders are ready to go.
One thing we need: A sub list for both divisions. If you're interested in being on this list, please reply or DM us. We need subs every week.

One of our beloved community members passed away yesterday. Dan Rotramel or "Bubba" as he was more well known as will be sorely missed. Bubba welcomed many players into the volleyball community with Seattle Volleyball Club and NAGVA, here in Seattle. Bubba was extremely kind and well loved. Always a pleasure to be on the court with and constantly cracking jokes of some kind. He gave a lot of his time and energy into helping grow our sport within Seattle and would play with anyone regardless of skill.
