Another successful but very hot weekend show in the books. We had 5 horse show at TIEC from Bella Vita Farm, so the days were long. First, Duke Of Tryon went for some more practice at the PSG. Rocco and I gained some more experience at the I1. Gus danced the weekend away with our 3rd level freestyle. Sometimes taking it to literal. But his scores of 73, 72 and 72% were quite impressive. Last for me was a new ride, Lucky Charm, aka LC. A 6 year old Arabian thats only be with me a couple months on and off. I was proud of how well he handled his first show. He was training level open high point his first trip down centerline and finished the weekend with a 68%. And last was Norwynn, with Stefanie Gagliardi stepping it up to 1st Level test there and got both their qualifying scores for regionals. Thank you always to all my supportive owners, Arthur Greenwood Jessica Greenwood Stefanie Gagliard Debbie Brown and Rhonda Liles Hannon . To my coach Julio Mendoza thank you for all your knowledge and kindness and inspiration to keep going in this tuff sport. And to my and fitter Jennifer Jarnigan that keep me and my horses backs happy. My vet Grace Buchanan and farrier Jack Sue Ashley Montgomery

We had a good weekend showing down in Conyers GA this past weekend. Gus and Norwynn hadn't been there yet, so it was a good chance for them to see the venue where the Region 3 dressage championship will be in October. Since Gus already qualified for 3rd level, I thought it would be a good to see what he could do at 4th. He did not disappoint. Qualifying scores both days with a 66.9% on Saturday and a 65+ on Sunday. Would have only been better if he didn't fall out of the first pirouette. But we have only been schooling them for a few weeks. Rocco continues to improve in the I1 test with a 61+ and a strong 64+% on Sunday. And Stefanie practiced her T3 test with Norwynn on Saturday and then moved him up to 1st 1 on Sunday with a win of 66%. Duke sat out this one since he is already qualified and has been to the venue twice. Thanks to Stefanie Gagliardi, Debbie Brown, and Stefanie's mom Dale, for a successful weekend.

On Wednesday, Jennifer Jarnigan once again deliverd us another beautiful Ethos Trilogy saddle. This one for Rocco. After a few adjustments it immediately help put Debbie in a better position to keep smarty pants from pushing her to the right. When I road in it, I was so happy to have such an amazing feel of really being able to correctly get my leg around him. This will be a game changer for the things we are working on. I can't recommend anyone better then Jennifer for saddle fitting. And I can't recommend any better saddle. All my horses now go in

Last weekend was a warm one to show Friday and Saturday at the Tryon International Equestrian Center but we all did well. Duke of Tryon received our highest PSG score of a 68% with a 70% coming from one of the two judges judging that test, which secured our second score needed for regionals. Rocco was oh so close in our I1 test with just over a 61 the first day. But we continue to gain experience and more understanding of what we need to work on. Gus was outstanding in his 3-3 test to get his last score for that level with a 70 and 71%. Lastly, Stefanie and Norwynn earned their last Training 3 score with a 68. Thank you to Arthur Greenwood Jessica Greenwood Stefanie Gagliardi and Debbie Brown for all your continue support and entrusting me with your beautiful horse to bring up the levels. Also, thanks to my amazing coach, Julio Mendoza , for all his support and knowledge and pushing me to be better for my horses and to have fun doing it!

Although it was last week, I thought I'd share how we did at our first show of 2026. We headed down to Aiken, SC for the first time for this group and really enjoyed the venue of Bruce's Field. Duke of Tryon stepped out at the PSG with some good scores starting the season off with a %66. He started and finished with 8's on both centerlines along with a line of changes. Also included 7 and 7.5 for his canter pirouettes. Thank you to his owners Arthur Greenwood Jessica Greenwood for thier constant support and patience as we develop Duke to his greatest potential. Next up is the wonderful pony Morocco. He stepped up to the I1 this season and we both gained some good experience each day. I haven't shown that test since my first FEI horse I develop, my heart horse Learo, 15 years ago. Thank you to Debbie Brown for her support and the wonderful pictures. Last for me was the amazing Gran Amor SK, aka Gus, made it back to the show ring after taking the last years and a half off. Long story short on that... he goes bare foot in front. I decided just to bring him out 3rd 3 for the beginning of the season and he did not disappoint with his highest score the second day with a %70. And ended the weekend as reserve champion. Thank you to his owner Stefanie Gagliardi for her support and trust in getting him show ready again. And with that, Stefanie has taken on Debbie's newer pony, Norwynn, for the show season and won both her training 3 classes with scores of 68 and 66. It was a great first show!

I was happy to have the wonderful Jennifer Jarnigan come to Bella Vita Farm today to check on and adjust a few saddles. I am always impressed with all her knowledge of proper saddle fitting. A small adjustment can make a big difference in keeping my horses happy in their tack.
