Spokane Gymnastics exists to create an engaged and encouraging environment where students develop strength, skill, and character through gymnastics training.
Each individual is provided the greatest opportunity to succeed, no matter their level or goal. Our Mission Encourage the development of strength, skill and character through gymnastics training in a positive environment where every student has the greatest opportunity to succeed, no matter what their level or goal. Our Philosophy Spokane Gymnastics is a progressive gymnastics program with the goal to help students develop strength, skill and character through gymnastics training. We are committed to providing the best gymnastics program in the area in a fun and safe gym. We build a foundation of coordination, strength and responsibility that will enable your child to succeed in any athletic endeavors. Locally owned and operated, the goal of the coaches at Spokane Gymnastics is to provide an experience where every child, no matter what level or goal, succeeds. We pride ourselves on teaching proper gymnastics techniques in a fun, encouraging, safe and clean environment. Our Facility Our 11,000 square foot facility has all the Olympic equipment for boys and girls gymnastics, plus an in-ground, loose-foam pit. This feature is not only safe for gymnastics, but great fun for birthday parties. In addition to a spring floor, high bar, parallel bars and uneven bars, vault, rings, pommel horse and beams, we also feature a double mini trampoline, Tumbl Trak and foam pit with a cargo net and zip line. We are proud to provide a safe and CLEAN gym with well-maintained equipment. Classes All our classes run year-round. We have three 13-week sessions (Fall, Winter, and Spring) and one 8-week Summer Session that roughly parallel the Spokane District 81 school schedules. Children may start at any time and pay only pro-rata charges for the session. USA Gymnastics Member Club USA Gymnastics is the sole national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in the United States. This designation comes from the U.S. Olympic Committee, and the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). USA Gymnastics sets the rules and policies that govern gymnastics in the United States. Spokane Gymnastics is a USA Gymnastics Member Club with many of our coaches becoming Professional Members as well as USAG Safety Certified. Spokane Gymnastics instructors have earned numerous USAG certifications through Regional Congresses and training throughout the Northwest.

Hello Spokane Gymnastics Families,
This morning Governor Inslee extended the state-mandate requiring indoor fitness centers, including gymnastics and our program, to remain closed through January 4, 2021.
This impacts classes at Spokane Gymnastics, and we will push back the kick-off date for the winter session to the beginning of January.
It's clear that the timeline for the current closure is shifting and requires us to be agile. The Winter session was originally scheduled to start the week of December 7, and tuition will be prorated down until we are able to reopen. Of course, we might need to adjust again in the future, and we will continue to communicate, be flexible, transparent, accommodating, and creative. As always, no one will pay for classes that Spokane Gymnastics is unable to provide. Spokane Gymnastics will reopen just as soon as it is safe and legal to do so.
While remaining closed through the holidays is not what we were hoping for, our priority continues to be the health, safety, and well-being of everyone connected to our program. At Spokane Gymnastics, we will always do the right thing, even when it is hard.
Even though an extended closure is extremely difficult for our locally-owned small business, we are committed to hanging on as long as it takes. We will bounce back to provide a safe, fun, and productive gymnastics experience as soon as possible, then for many more decades.
All families with students enrolled in winter session of classes have been emailed a full update.
We are choosing to focus on things within our control and serving the needs of our students, families, and community.
We will continue to provide free resources:
Also, we have FREE live Facebook mini-lessons on Thursdays! 10:00 am Preschool Gymnastics with Coach Kelsie and basic gymnastics at 3:00 pm for school-age students taught by a rotation of Spokane Gymnastics instructors.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with encouragement; your support has meant more than we can adequately express! Please reach out if you have any questions or creative ideas on how we can support our students, families, and community. Even remotely, we are here to serve, and we can't wait to bounce back!

We are incredibly sad about another disruption in our students' lives.
Being able to serve during the past four months, even with limited capacity and programs, we were revitalized by the kids! They energized us and solidified our commitment.
We understand what we provide matters and is essential to our students' physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being. We will continue to give it everything we've got, we will hang on once again, and we will adapt.
We are creative, we are gritty, we are wacky, we are determined to serve our students, families, and community through challenges and long-term. We are capable of so much more than we ever could have imagined.
Hang tough, friends; brighter days are still ahead. We can't wait to bounce back!

Spokane Gymnastics is expanding!
We are thrilled to welcome Northwest Gymnastics students and families to our program!
Spokane Gymnastics will now offer a Junior Olympic competitive program, which will be coached by Mike and Nancy Armstrong, founders of Northwest Gymnastics. We look forward to collaborating with teaching, staff training, and clinics; Mike and Nancy have over 70 years of combined coaching gymnastics experience! I am impressed by their commitment to serve their students and dedication to excellence. Mike and Nancy have established a reputation for quality coaching. They have been instrumental in assisting many local gymnasts reach their athletic goals, including receiving college scholarships and achieving national gymnastics success.
Effective as soon as we can safely reopen, Spokane Gymnastics will operate out of our current Argonne Village location, in addition to the gymnastics facility at 11712 E. Montgomery Drive, which will now be known as "Spokane Gymnastics Pines location." The facilities are conveniently located less than two miles apart and are easily accessible directly from Montgomery Drive.
In addition to featuring Spokane Aerial Performing Arts (Circus and Silks), our Xcel and TNT teams will now be able to practice in a facility more conducive to competitive training. Coaches Josh, Melissa, Gretchen, Kali, Caelah, and Aspen will continue with our Xcel Teams, and Coach Tucker with the TNT team. Most instructional classes will continue at Spokane Gymnastics Argonne Village, and class size will remain the same or be further limited to adhere to safety concerns of social distancing. This expansion was a consideration even before the emergence of COVID, but now additional space is vital and will benefit all our students.
We understand this has been an anxious time for everyone with all the uncertainty. We also recognize that change can be unsettling. We're turning lemons into lemonade and taking this time to thoughtfully consider how we can best serve our families and the community. I appreciate that we are fortunate to be able to emerge from this closure even better than before: to collaborate to provide continuity for Northwest Gymnastics athletes, and also provide expanded services.
We will proceed in the same manner that we have built Spokane Gymnastics over the past decade. We are dedicated to the inclusive environment we have created: our culture, communication, organization, and established programs. We have built a strong foundation and have a solid team of committed instructors who positively impact the lives of children.
We look forward to being able to reopen and once again provide a safe, fun and productive gymnastics experience!
Please reach out if there's anything we may do to assist. We will get through this. And, as always, we will do so together.
We will handstand (together) again!
Stay Healthy Spokane. We Will See You Soon.

Spokane Gymnastics is closed due to COVID-19.
The need to close for an extended period without much notice or time to prepare was, and still is, a shock. Only a couple of weeks ago, it would have been almost impossible to comprehend the challenges we all currently face.
Our priority continues to be the health, safety, and well-being of everyone connected to our program.
I believe the difficult but necessary decision to close Spokane Gymnastics when we did will have a direct and meaningful impact not just on our students, families, and coaches, but our entire community.
Even though we could not have predicted all this, we will proceed in the same manner that we have built Spokane Gymnastics over the past decade. We will continue to be accommodating, honest, fulfill our commitments, adapt, and provide support for our students, families, and coaches.
While there are many things we don't know yet, such as when we will be able to safely reopen, the one thing you can count on is that Spokane Gymnastics will be back, and better than ever!
We have built a strong foundation and have a solid team of dedicated coaches who are committed to positively impacting the lives of children. Besides this closure directly impacting their livelihood, our instructors also care about the kiddos; we already miss our students! We went from having the best possible "job" in the world to suddenly not being able to do what we are passionate about, and contribute with purpose to our community.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and compassion; it has meant more than we can adequately express. We look forward to once again being able to provide a safe, fun and productive gymnastics experience!
