It’s May 8th, which means it’s time to wish our guy Kevin Dutkiewicz a happy birthday!
At Petersen Racing, Kevin does it all: wrenching on the sled during the week and on the weekends, driving the truck and trailer to all the races, cracking jokes in the pits, racing the ditchbanger, and even popping bottles on the podium.
Thank you for everything you do for us, enjoy your day!

Now that winter’s wrapped up, it’s time to think summer and warmer weather. The team at The Boat House Chicago supported us all season long and we’d love it if you’d support them when it comes time to getting your boats ready!
Opening day at the marina is here ⚓️
The marina is officially open for the season! While the chain is still closed to boating, we’re up and running with work racks, fuel for marina customers, and essential services to get you ready for the water.
We’re now open 7 days a week from 8 AM – 5 PM. Once Memorial Day weekend begins, our closing time will extend to 7 PM
Stop in, get your boat dialed in, and be first in line when the water opens up. Season starts now!

After a two weekend hiatus, racing resumed in Duluth, MN and we were able to draw the 2025-26 season to a close with one of our best showings in recent memory.
Having earned the pro lite championship at Hartford Snocross, Brian was able to race the special showdown race on Thursday, which featured a one heat and final format. When all was said and done, he brought home wins in both races - paving the way for a successful weekend ahead.
The momentum continued on Saturday with 1-1 finishes in the heat races. After starting in the top 3, he worked his way into the lead on the first full lap and never looked back, earning his 3rd win of the season.
On Saturday, Brian was running 2nd in round 1 of qualifying when he made a mistake through the technical downhill and was forced to nurse the sled to 4th at the finish. Kevin, Danny, and Lumpy worked relentlessly to get the sled fixed up for the remainder of the day and after some setbacks, Brian returned in the back row for the final. Working through the field, he’d end up in 2nd with a few laps to go. On the final lap, the leader had an unfortunate off, allowing Brian past for his 3rd final win of the weekend. All said and done, the results put him 3rd in the championship. As for Adam, despite missing the last round in Duluth, his finishes the rest of the season had him tied for an impressive 4th in the championship.
Thank you to all of our partners for making this weekend possible - we couldn’t do it without you.

It’s getting to be spring time in the Midwest, but the show goes on. This past weekend, the team returned for rounds 11-12 of the national tour at ERX Motor Park.
Mother Nature threw us some curveballs with warm temps, rain, and a storm delay on Friday night, but all in all, the team made the most of it. Brian went 2-3 in his heats while Adam followed closely behind with 3-4 finishes. In the final, Adam led the way early before getting caught up with another racer on the opening lap and going down. Impressively, he’d get back up and charge all the way up to finish 5th. Brian slotted into the top 5 early on and tried to make a charge up to the podium, but fell just short with a 4th.
With the crazy weather in the rearview, Saturday was bound to be a better day. The guys both made it through their heats with 2nd and 3rd place results and moved onto the final under the lights. Once again, Adam grabbed a great start and hung onto 4th before Brian slipped past a few laps into the race. Similar to Friday’s final, Brian got into 4th but just couldn’t make the push to get onto the podium before the checkers flew.
Mistakes happen in this sport and in the roost, Brian missed a yellow flag near the end of the race and unfortunately fell three positions in the finishing order. All was not lost though, as Adam returned to the podium with yet another 3rd place finish! After a hard charge on Friday, a podium for him the following day was much deserved.
Now, we look toward Eagle River for the penultimate stop of the season. Racing kicks off this Friday, March 13th!

There’s some rain in the forecast, but we’ll be gripping the sleds at ERX this weekend thanks to these custom seat covers built right here in Illinois by Subzero Stitch.
Whether you want something for a modern sled or a vintage sled, mild or wild, he can get you sorted out.
Here’s just a small sample of what he’s done for other Ski-Doo sleds recently!
