If everything keeps rotating/moving, how does force transfer to speed in the club head? Hint: A lot has to do with your upper body extremities.

Chasing more GRF like most coaches teach for speed is overrated because most golfers can’t even utilize the GRF they currently create by turning it into more club speed via the rest of the kinetic chain (including arms). Being connected to a sturdy ground is not overrated in the golf swing. But that’s not what GRF has become in golf. It’s a much more all encompassing term that everyone uses differently and it creates confusion and often focus in the wrong area for speed production. Connection to the ground? Not overrated for speed. Creating more “Ground Reaction Force” for speed for the majority of golfers, OVERRATED.
