ANOTHER BIG OPPORTUNITY FOR ONE OF OUR GUYS!!!

Congratulations to Evan Medley on officially receiving an offer to play for the West Boca Snappers in the South Florida Collegiate Baseball League this summer!

Evan is currently a senior at Lake Creek High School and will be one of only a handful of true 18U high school players competing in a league made up primarily of collegiate athletes.

The South Florida Collegiate Baseball League provides an incredible opportunity for players to compete against high-level college talent while gaining exposure to college coaches, professional scouts, and individuals with connections throughout the game. The league has a strong history of developing talent and helping players advance to the next level.

For Evan, this is an opportunity to step outside of high school baseball, challenge himself against experienced collegiate players, and prove he belongs on the field with some of the best young talent in the country.

This is what it’s all about. Creating opportunities, opening doors, and giving our guys the chance to compete at the highest level possible.

We’re extremely proud of Evan and excited to see what he can accomplish this summer in South Florida!

Congratulations, Evan! Time to go to work! 💪⚾

As we continue to remember and celebrate the life of Sam, our hearts remain with his family, friends, and everyone who loved him.

Sam meant so much to so many people, far beyond the baseball field. He was a son, a brother, a family member, a best friend, a mentor, and someone people genuinely loved having in their lives. The impact he made came from who he was as a person, and that is what deserves to be remembered most.

Sam’s memorial service will be held Thursday, September 24th at The Woodlands Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, with the service beginning at 2:00 PM.

We also know how many players and families became a part of Sam’s life through baseball over the years. He poured so much of himself into the kids he coached, and many of those relationships went far beyond just being their coach. To all of his former and current players and their families who loved Sam, looked up to him, and have been hurting alongside everyone else, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating him and everything he meant to so many people.

Most importantly, please continue to keep Sam’s family, closest friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate an unimaginable loss. This is a time for everyone who knew and loved Sam to come together, support one another, share memories, and celebrate a life that will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Sam Reding Foundation using the link below.

Rest easy, Sam. You are loved, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten.
