🏒💙 CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF LITTLE BLUES LEARN TO PLAY! 💙🏒

Five years ago, we welcomed our very first Little Blues players to the ice. Since then, hundreds of young athletes have taken their first strides, learned the fundamentals of hockey, built confidence, made lifelong friendships, and become part of our hockey family.

From our Inaugural Class of Fall 2021 to today's growing program, Little Blues has become a cornerstone of youth hockey development at Ice Park. What started as an opportunity to introduce children to hockey has grown into a program that continues to strengthen our local hockey community year after year.

One of the greatest successes of Little Blues has been the incredible support from our hockey family. The strength of our community has been demonstrated through the countless hours donated by Missouri State University Hockey, Drury University Hockey, Springfield Youth Hockey Association (SYHA), Ice Park hockey and skating instructors, coaches, parents, and the many volunteers who stepped up to help young players discover a love for the game. Their dedication, mentorship, and passion have helped make Little Blues a welcoming and successful experience for every participant.

📣 Ice Park Online Calendars Updated

The online calendars have now been updated to include all currently scheduled events on the ice, private rentals, group rentals, Ice Park programming, etc. Please note that there may still be a few events in August and beyond that are missing—staff is actively reviewing and updating those entries.

To help users better navigate the schedule, the calendar now offers flexible filtering options. You can easily drill down and view only the events or categories that matter most to you, making it simpler to stay organized and informed about everything happening at the Ice Park.

For example, users can select specific event types or timeframes to quickly customize their view based on their needs. Please see attached photo.

📢 Attention Ice Park Guests!

In an effort to be more transparent and make scheduling easier to access, we are moving to one online calendar that will display all daily rink events.

You can find the new calendar on our website's main page under "Daily Rink Schedule" (located on the far ride side of the main page).

Currently, the calendar includes:

🏒 Open Hockey (S&P/HLS/Drop In)

In the near future, it will also include:
