Okay, okay we know that Springfield is currently in a heat wave! And that September seems very far away! But here's the deal- the fall exhibition is a great opportunity to perform a program. Skaters can perform something that has a fall/Halloween theme to it. Skaters could try out their new program for the competition season. Or do a duet with a friend! In Learn to Skate and want to try performing but aren't sure where to start? You can talk to your Learn to Skate class coach to see if they offer private lessons or talk with Alli Schaefer about finding a coach who could work with you on a program.

Figure skating camp wrapped up today with a program performance, kickball, and treats!

Summer camp is wrapping up this week! Today skaters worked on choreography for a group number, did a weight workout, skated a few relays and laps then ended with games, stretching and balance.

It's the fourth week of skate camp and today skaters were encouraged to dress like their skate guards. They did a great job! And pink skate guards or variations on pink guards are popular!
