We know what you took, we have reported it to the police, and we’re prepared to prosecute. However, here’s the deal. Bring back everything you stole from us, leave it on our back porch unharmed, and we’ll give you the chance to simply walk away. If you don’t, we’ll turn over everything to law enforcement, and we’ll request that you be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If that happens, you’ll be getting a visit from the Springfield Police Department soon. But we’re giving you one chance by extending you some grace and hoping you’ll do the right thing.
