The Brain Health & Early Intervention Summit was more than an event. It was a community-centered experience rooted in awareness, education, early intervention, and purpose.
LaLa Speaks Foundation is deeply grateful to the partners, supporters, and experience team who helped bring this summit to life.
Leading Medical Voice
• Dr. Abdullah Hakoun, Assistant Professor of Neurology at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and founding member of the LaLa Speaks Foundation Medical Advisory Board.
Dr. Hakoun joined us virtually from Tennessee and helped ground the experience in practical education, early intervention, and the importance of accessible brain health conversations in community spaces. Without his insight and commitment, this summit would not have been the same.
Media Partner & Amplification
• Voice of the People (VOP News STL)
Our featured media partner, VOP, brought professional broadcast and storytelling to the summit. Their partnership ensured our mission was seen and heard by those who could not be in the room. Without Dr. Hakoun’s voice and VOP’s coverage, our impact would have been far smaller.
Medical, Health, and Resource Partners
• Affinia Healthcare
• Alzheimer’s Association of Greater St. Louis
• J5 Solutions
• Gamble Community Center
• Regions Bank
Hospitality and Experience Partners
• Mama Drea’s Kitchen
• Moo’s Mobile Mixer
• DJ Boogie Corleone
Host, Program, and Creative Support
• Melonie Montgomery * Mz Mel
• Britteney Ofodile
• Demi Gibson Photography
Venue and Event Support
• The Post Building
• Claire and the team at The Post
This summit helped move brain health awareness, early intervention, and community education into a room where people could ask questions, connect with resources, and understand why this work matters.
Silence is deadly. Awareness saves lives.
LaLa’s legacy continues, and this work will move forward as we build toward Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month in September.
